Ă part of the food court in DLF Avenue, Saket lies this Asian street food place called Pings cafe orient.
They have ample sitting space comprising of comfortable sofas and chairs.
A very big menu for vegetarians and non vegetarians. Decent menu for non alcoholics and a detailed menu for the alcohol lovers.
We ordered Asparagus tempura roll veg sushi, drunken noodles and pings summer brizz as mocktail.
Drunken noodles â 9/10
Sushi â 8/10
Mocktail â 7/10
Pingâs menu is extensive and includes a range of sushi, dimsums, bowls and stone bowls, wok-cooked stuff, South East Asian curries, noodles and rice, baos, and so on. There are also various desserts, soft beverages as well as a full bar.
We ordered three dishes: pork spare ribs as a starter, exotic stone bowl (pork krapow with sticky rice) for a mains, and stir-fried Chinese greens as a side. Our daughter ordered a âsummer brizzâ mocktail, which seemed to have been spiced up with a sort of shikanjvi masala that I didnât like (though since my daughter enjoyed it, I wonât hold it against Pingâs!)
The food was delicious, every single thing we ate absolutely on point. It was a bit expensiveâalmost Rs 3,000 for the mealâbut at least we didnât regret it.
Went to Pingâs in DLF avenue cause we were craving Asian food , but we didnât know what to expect. And to our surprise we absolutely loved the food that we ordered, from the taste itself to the quality of ingredients that were used, everything was spot on.
We tried veg drunken noodles which were spicy and flavourful, spicy pork ramen which had the most amazing broth I have had in a long time along with pickled eggs, veggies and of course the meat. We got the ramen a little customised since i didnât want too spicy but pork ramen comes with that spicy flavour only (thats what they told me) , so instead they gave mushroom ramen broth but it was still amazing.
In starters we tried the Oyster Mushroom Bao which was absolutely delicious but for vegetarians it can have that slight fish-y taste due to the sauce that might make it unappetising for them, but I would definitely recommend everyone to give this a try ! And the other thing we had was Pingâs Crunchy Spinach sushi rolls which were so light and delicious and absolutely worth it.
We also ordered mocktails â Thai lemongrass cooler and Apple ginger collins which went pretty well with our food and was a different style of beverage.
Overall the service was fast and the waiters were helpful and nice.
The seating is also different with thin glass slabs separating 2 tables.
Overall it was an amazing experience and I would definitely go back again!
I recently visited Pingâs, which has been my go-to place for Asian cuisine, but this time, my experience left me utterly disappointed. We ordered our usual favorite, the Enoki Truffle Roll sushi, and to my dismay, it was nothing like what we had enjoyed in the past. The quality had significantly deteriorated, and the sushi was rather pathetic in comparison to our previous experiences.
Hoping to salvage the meal, we decided to give the Spicy Korean Chicken Wings a try. Unfortunately, they were a major letdown as well. There was no discernible spice or sauce on the wings; they were essentially plain fried chicken with a minimal amount of sauce and a light garnish of garlic and spring onions. We even asked the staff to rectify the dish, but their attempts didnât improve the situation.
This visit to Pingâs was, without a doubt, the worst dining experience Iâve had there. The decline in the quality of their signature dishes was disappointing, and the Spicy Korean Chicken Wings were far from satisfying. Never visiting again.
After a friendâs recommendation I ordered my lunch from Pingâs. They serve some amazing pan Asian food. Ordered Pad Thai Noodles and Juicy Lamb dimsums. Dimsums were just so flavourful that you urged for more. Pad Thai was good in quantity, had a perfect balance of non veg and noodles. Definitely trying more on the menu soon.
