  1. We stop at least once a week for fresh meats and produce. Don’t usually shop the center isles as we prefer less processed and fresh eats. The manager is always engaged to what’s going on the store. Franklin is wonderful at helping us with our loading of groceries. Each cashier is focused on their duties and always have pleasant conversations with them.
If there’s one thing I would address, it would be the cart caddy stationed in the lot; seen better days and seems to move all over the lot. Perhaps they could be replaced or anchored or get rid of them.
A store called Heinens used a person with a numbering system that would bring the groceries out when you drove up to the door and showed the number… like a cart valet. This way you don’t have to go out to the lot to get the carts, the cats stayed inside where they weren’t stolen, weathered or left items inside

  2. Stephanie, a cashier, was rude, racist,
    and unprofessional. As a Special
Education Teacher, I visited the store
during lunch break. She greeted the
white customer in the front and to the
rear of me, but refused to say “Hello” or
“Thank you” as she scanned my items. I
    repeated “Hello” and “Thank” several
times, but she rolled her eyes and
smirked at the older, musty white man
behind me. Luckily, Mr. Franklin was nice and helpful, and I look forward to trying these beef hot dogs and grilling my Ribeye Burgers. Finally, I don’t live in
Slyacauga, AL, nor do I have to shop
    here, and neither should you!

  3. Went in with my sister to get her some needed items . Greetings as we entered. Store was stocked and clean. Fresh produce. Meat market had some good prices. All employees were friendly. No waiting in check out. Cashier thanked us . It was a favorable shopping visit at Sylacauga Piggly Wiggly.
