  1. My family has stayed at Phoenix V Condominiums twice now and each visit was great. The common areas, pools, and splash pads are kept tidy and in good condition. Lower-level rooms are preferable for kids and seniors to give quick and easy access to the beach and other amenities. I also like the location of this place, as it’s in a less busy area of the vacation spots and is convenient to a Wal-Mart and multiple dining options.

  2. Nice condominium on the beach. Has a very nice pool and a splash pad for the kids. There is also an inside pool with two hot tubs. The condominium also has a small gym to work out in. There are 4 elevators total with a selection of shopping buggies and carts to transfer luggage. There is a parking garage, but an additional fee to park inside the garage. The service was ok. Couple times there was no one at the desk when I needed help. Overall this was our favorite Phoenix we have stayed at in Orange Beach.

  3. Ok, overall, the experience was awesome! With that said, there are only 4 elevators in that big complex, so prepare for long waits. The biggest drawback was the fact that you better bring EVERYTHING you need for your stay. Including toilet paper, paper towels, and even trash bags. Don’t expect any help from the front desk staff, I actually overheard a employee saying some rude remarks about guests and phone calls, not realizing that I was there and had overheard her snarky remarks.

  4. We enjoyed our stay here. Great ocean view and sunrise. Watched a pod of dolphins feed during sunrise on our balcony. The only complaint was the renovation construction in one of the units that was heard throughout the entire facility one day. Other than that, very relaxing and peaceful stay.

  5. WARNING – Property owners/managers not being upfront and truthful!!! Not disclosing actual availability of property features.

Recently went on a work/short vacation trip and my business partner booked us at the Phoenix V. She booked the room because she has a large family and then 2 others were staying and she wanted the large balcony for us to be able to hang out, drink out coffee, etc. Well, just prior to arrival, there was a text message sent stating “some of the balconies on the property are closed, sorry for inconvenience”. Of course, ours was one. We called prior to arrival but were told “Sorry we cannot disclose which ones are closed”. It completely changed the dynamic of our trip. Management was of no help as they basically said “sorry, nothing we can do”. While to some it might be a minor inconvenience, to us, it was more than that. Especially based on what we paid for the room and then didn’t even have access to an important featured. As a business owner, I know it would not be difficult to alter a fee or make other options available. Maybe be honest with disclosure when advertising the property so if we want an accessible balcony we can choose another room.
