Drove my car into a big dipped water puddle and came to this place literally right before closing in about 30 minutes. Spoke with Allison who told me it was It was only one tech available and poor thing she had an arm sling on herself so she couldn’t help me. She was able to make a call to the location down the street to Leonard, he was able to help me. So grateful to have come to this place, I see that the customer still matters out here!! They were right on the mark in pulling the rim and tire pointing out the source of my problem, a rotational clicking sound;
A misplaced adhesive balance weight on the inside of the rim coming into contact with the brake caliper. A clip on.
Quick fix and on my way.
I went to Pep Boys today for air in my tires. I walked in first and right after me walked another customer and the person around the desk greeted and gave service to that person first before me. Once I drove around to get the air placed in my tires, the person who put the air in did not say Hello or anything! He did not even look my way! Not even a “Have a nice day”. Customer service is very poor.
I had a very pleasant experience with Pep Boys on Montlimar Drive. It was not a planned visit and I appreciated being able to get my car problem solved so quickly and the kind courteous technician. The only negative was the waiting area, no amenities other than a TV and restroom. A drink machine or coffee bar would be nice.
