I had a faulty range hood which would cause the smoke alarms to go off all the time. I went to Home Depot and Lowe’s for suggestions but hardly received any. There are just so many brands and a huge price range which was confusing.
I read up some of the reviews of pacific range hood and decided to pay them a visit. They were professional, guided me to a few options to select and that was it. Price was a bit expensive but with the installation and the convenience, it was worth it. They will swap out your old stuff and get the new one installed.
For me, the upper vent had a rectangular shape vs the circular outlet that they have on the hood. The technician noted that, rescheduled the appointment, came back with the new part and fixed everything properly.

Just finished installing SC9830 pacific hood this afternoon and had a wonderful experience for the whole process. Sales Edward H gave me a detail demo in Sunnyvale showroom. He was professional and patient for all my questions. I cook most Asian food. I need something powerful to eliminate the smell / smoke. This hood meets my requirements. They sent 2 workers to install the hood. They cover their shoes when entering my house and put cover to protect my stove when installing. They provided solutions about the exhausted piping and even wipe clean the hood afterward. Free installation and haul away the old one. Such a wonderful experience and solve my problem! Sandy will tell you pros and cons based on the available space in your kitchen before selecting the hood. Sandy cares from the size width, height, duct size, depth of the cabinet, electrical and granite before your payment. I can completely feel she is not just a sales person, but she wants to make sure everything is good after the installation.
Sandy is very patient and spend 30-60 minutes when talking to us, she hope us understand everything before paying the money. I can feel she loves her work.
Due to COVID we need to wait 2-3 weeks after placing the order, but Sandy keep tracking and updating the status after we paid. She is super responsible for every client and she gave us a call for a 3-hour window two days before the installation.
Our handyman is Victor, he is super nice and he is very careful. Our gas range is new and he wrap it before removing the old hood and then install the new hood for us. Victor is patient as well, he answered all of our questions during the installation.

I got to know Pacific Range Hood through my best friend’s recommendation. Interestingly, she also heard good word of mouth from her home remodeling contractor. While the contractor who works in the home improvement industry must have many true experiences, I am glad that these references helped me eventually found the perfect range hood here.
My friend and I went to the store to test different models. Yan (Lin) was extremely welcoming and professional. I particularly appreciated his logic. He only asked key questions and narrowed the selection down to the most suitable model. While I was still having questions regarding the model, he did not respond with a sales pitch. He truly analyzed the real scenario (even the home inspection process) and provided an honest solution. e.g. I was curious about the Euro Design series, but giving the real circumstances of my kitchen ( enclosed cabinet and limited height between the stove and range hood), that might not be the most suitable model. Best of all, he was very responsive to all my post-sale questions and on-time installation.
The installation service was amazing. The technician made precise measurements and triple-checked the perfect seal of the pipe. He covered the whole stove with plastic bags and suggested putting away kitchen appliances to keep the area neat. Upon finish, he wiped down all the dust and provided step-by-step instruction. It is this kind of true care that shows well-trained professionals and an outstanding team. I hope more people in the bay area can also have the opportunity to experience their quality product and service.
