This Orvis location is amazing! My husband and I have been to Orvis Sandanona and Hill Country which are equally, as one would expect from Orvis, clean and set in beautiful landscaping and spectacular views, especially Hill Country. Orvis Pursell farms in our opinion is very special. The people there embrace wonderful Southern hospitality and it has a beautifully designed clays course. If you enjoy southern Quail hunts look no further, they have long plant strips for great quail hunting . If you want to practice casting their fishing pond is the spot. If you need to warm up before opening day of dove then you hit the tower for some fast driven incoming and crossing targets.. Also having Pursell Farms adds so much more and really makes this location the best. You can spend a weekend here play golf, have lunch, dinner or just relax before a shoot. We love this place .
Great people and beautiful location. Sprawling facility that is a great place to shoot a fun and challenging round of clays or five stand. They’ve got some nice shotguns and gear in the store. Everything needed for clays and even fly fishing. We had a corporate event there and I went back to shoot with the family. Incredible service every time!
This was so cool! It’s one of the best shooting grounds you’ll ever find. The course gives you 100 shots in a round, some easy and some impossible. The guides were fun and patient in teaching and helping us get better. I would love to do this again.
This place is 1st class from the shooting grounds to the fishing lakes. The retail store has a great selection of clothing for hunting, shooting , fishing. The staff is very knowledgeable in all aspects of the services offered. It’s well worth the trip.
My wife and I had a amazing time there. I’ve shot before, but my wife had never done this before. Recommend highly if you are a beginner, don’t let the facility intimidate you. Great course, even better people. Steve was our gunner/trapper and he was very patient and made the experience better than expected. Wil definitely be back.
