  1. I absolutely adore this gym. The coaches are extremely supportive and push you to do better. The front desk staff knows everyone by name and makes you feel welcome. The studio itself is clean, the equipment is nice, and there are plenty of weight options. The classes are 1 hour and that includes warm up, cardio, weights, and stretching. It’s a super efficient and fun way to get a full body workout.

  2. My experience with Orangetheory Fitness has been very disappointing. I contacted them in July to cancel my membership before the next billing cycle, but they still charged me. I tried again in August, but once again, they charged me. It’s frustrating to deal with a company that seems more interested in taking money from its customers than providing quality service.

On top of that, the workouts were underwhelming. The majority of the session—almost 40 minutes—is spent on the treadmill. There’s very little focus on diverse workout goals or a balanced routine. If you’re looking for a well-rounded fitness program, this isn’t it. Instead, it feels like you’re just paying to run on a treadmill.

  3. I love it here! I’ve been going since Nov 2022. They’re so motivating! I was apprehensive because of the price but it is worth every penny! They even clapped for us this morning while doing the rowers! Great people! If you’re on the fence, do it! My friend said, “Show off that Orangetheory body” They really push you to do your best.

  4. I came to OTF and got hooked- their workouts are both challenging and well-balanced. The coaches are motivating but do not pressure you if you need to slow down. At downtown Bham studio, the classes are small enough that the coaches get to know you and cater to you but also not too small that you’re doing workouts on your own. The staff are also so cool! The facility is always clean and parking is easy!
