From the moment we drove in we were greeted with a welcoming spirit at every checkpoint. The efficiency and warmth of the staff was incredible, they will go above and beyond to cater to your needs. The room we had was exceptionally well maintained, shout out to Liz St. James for her dedication to maintaining an excellent environment for the guests. The welcoming treats at the room were so special. The staff at the restaurants are so well trained to know the menu so well and accommodate for any special requests. The curtesy from staff just walking by and greeting was beautiful. The spa experience was absolutely delightful! Went in for a massage and facial, and I walked out so relaxed and glowing after a 4 hour session, combined. The spa is absolutely top tier from the moment you walk in, and i’ve been to many. Will definitely be going back for more family trips!
Great resort overall. We enjoyed the trip, but my one complaint is our room was adjoined to another unit. This was fine until the last night as the new tenants threw a loud party until 3 AM. The door separating the units has a large gap underneath that allowed all their noise to be heard.
Family friendly resort; on-site activities, pools, golf, live music, attentive staff.
This review is more directional while booking rooms at the resort- they are not as advertised on the website. Far older, even if identified as renovated. We booked on the phone with the staff to ensure a room with a walk out space and new updates – That was not the turn out.
Book with caution but beyond the rooms the resort is a well kept, bustling community with a high volume of kids. They ensure activities through out the days for those enjoying extended stays with their families, which is a great fore site. There is a bar & multiple restaurants.
Attended a conference/retreat at the Omni La Costa Resort so I didn’t actually stay in the rooms but the room my friend had looked nice and spacious. The meeting facilities were wonderful, and the food was fantastic. In fact, I think it may have been the best food of any conference at a hotel/resort that I’ve attended. The food was delicious and healthy.
If the resort was walking distance from the beach, I would give the location 5 stars. It’s a sizeable resort but as far as I can tell, there’s nothing you would walk to around the resort.
Great place to stay, the views are great, the food options are spectacular although they need to work on bugs. They’re are a lot of bugs on the walls and ceiling, work on cleaning that because at night they all come out and sometimes they make their way into your room. The balconies are nice too but again with the bugs there it doesn’t seem appealing to go out.
