I just want to say thank you to the maintenance Team here. Each time I place a work order request. The team is on it.They are very polite, professional and they get the job done quickly or within a reasonable timeframe. Never a disappointment. Great costumer service that made you feel like your needs mattered. You guys rock!!!!!!!! Thank you for all you do.
Office staff is all new employees for the most part. My apartment was flooded due to the water heater busting. My entire walk in closet was soaked. The emergency maintenance guy is alright. My water heater was replaced. I had to call the maintenance guy back in order for them to look at my closet. They used a dehumidifier. They left it plugged in while I was out of town for about 5 days. Upon my return, I found the machine on. I went to the front office and explained to them what happened. They said they would notify maintenance. I told them I need to know if I can turn it off because I’m sure I’m going to have a pretty expensive electric bill. This was at around 1pm. I never got a call back. The next day I spoke directly with the maintenance guy. He turned it off and took it. This was a big inconvenience. I had to wash all my clothes due to the water. My bill be expensive I’m sure. Plus the incompetency of the office blows my mind. Not once did they say I would be getting a reimbursement for my utility bills. Poor experience.
We’ve been living here since 2021 and nothing too major to complain about. The parking situation sucks and been on a waiting list for a garage since we’ve moved in just to see a new neighbor move in about 5 months ago and she instantly got a garage, cars with flat tires taking up space for weeks at a time and no one is making them move. Also, since they put bark over the grass people have been coming to my building and letting their dogs poop all over the sidewalk and not pick it up. I actually had poop in front of my door and I’m on the second floor. Maintenance is probably the best thing going here, they respond quickly and I never had any issues with waiting long for help.
The apartment complex itself and the unit were pretty great, especially for the former price of 1,500 per month. Carpets get replaced regularly. Interior is a bit dated but clean and not too old. Responsive maintenance team. In unit laundry is a rare find. Got deposit in full, unlike at some other places. Just don’t break anything and keep it clean.
We had a 2-year lease, and this was our first time living in an apartment after living in a nice area in a house.
I wouldn’t call the apartment complex sketchy. However, it doesn’t necessarily give you the best vibe. 1 car was stolen. We had issues with our neighbors on our floor and neighbors below. Unfortunately, the demographic situation after covid became worse. The laws do not allow to discriminate against people based on different characteristics, so your neighbor might as well be some low life . We had a neighbor who would smoke weed in their apartment. We complained multiple times to the management, and they gave them a warning. Neighbor would bring buddies who were not clean-cut people. We had police show up multiple times for both of our neighbors. My neighbor’s car was vandalized by her connections from her past life. My other neighbor was out of prison and not too stable emotionally… we rushed to leave eventually and bought a house.
That’s probably specific to renting affordable dwelling places, in general.
Overall, it was a decent place, but the stay was colored by troubled neighbors. It can be a gamble.
(Edit: I was persistent in documenting why the deductions were incorrect and they ended up giving me the majority of my deposit back. ) Heavy fees, high expectations for residents, yet, slow, customer service. Left my apartment in PRISTINE condition and they took $810 of my deposit. Management is polite, just high turnover.
