Rooms spacious but overpriced to look at a roof out the window. Reservations were difficult. We were with a wedding party for most nights but didn’t have enough rooms on the block so had to pay full price all nights for one room and full price all rooms one night. Not enough parking. They told us we had a $30 food credit everyday w resort fee rooms but never got the credit. Almost impossible to close the bathroom door from the inside, dragging on the floor. Bathrooms were very small and the shower water leaked out the door. Getting the shower water temperature correct was almost impossible. They advertise pool side service but saw 1 overworked person the 2 hours we were there, and finally went and showered and went to the bar inside. Only Pepsi products, no choice, yuck. Not worth it. There are other nice hotels closeby. Frustrating.
Great location. Very lovely and well-decorated lobby and garden. However, the second you walk into the hallways and rooms, it’s like walking into a hotel from a decade ago. Hallways were like a maze and looked dated. Room was dark and would require some work to be on par with the location and brand name. I wish they could renovate the whole property instead of just the lobby.
Really enjoy this hotel. Always clean, a comfortable atmosphere, nice club room for members. Great place for weekend getaway and family-friendly as well. Location is perfect for wine tasting trip.
The location is just off the highway but close to convenience stores so I wouldn’t go for the ambiance / views of Napa. The 5-6pm happy hour is a nice touch but you’ll need to bring your snacks 😟. The pool is small and heated but can get loud quickly. The most disappointing piece was that the pool chairs are basically slabs of concrete. The staff is a mixed bag, some were very nice and some didn’t seem to care. Last, they offer conference space so if you’re trying to create a certain mood, a table of name badges but kill the vibe. Overall it’s a not bad, just know what you’re getting into if you’re paying $450++
This hotel is mediocre at best, they charge you a fee that includes the wine tasting each night (not free, paid for in nightly fee) and its literally a 1 ounce pour of a wine blend, person pouring works for Marriott and has no understanding of wine.
The location is ok, but it’s not worth the Marriott points you earn staying here. I would never stay here again. The only positive thing I can say about it is the pillows are nice, that’s about it. I’m guessing all other resorts and spas have similar if not better. Do NOT say here.
