Lazara was a god send for us. Our daughter had lip and tongue tie which caused a lot of breast feeding challenges for my wife.
My wife had a likely engorgement when we we reached out to Lazara. I sent her a message at 1am and she was home the next morning. She spent at least 2 hours helping relieve the engorgement and also provided extremely valuable breastfeeding tips and techniques.
Her knowledge about all things newborn is remarkable and after a few sessions we have learnt more from her about our little one that from our pediatrician. For anyone facing any challenges with breastfeeding or newborn care, don’t shy away from taking help and Lazara comes highly recommended.
I found Lazara thru my Aetna insurance that cover for lactation service. After couple months of searching, Lazara is the only lactation consultant who takes Aetna insurance, services San Jose area and does home visit for prenatal and postpartum. Also she is a NICU nurse! Most of the other lactation consultants are either virtual visit only or charge for extra travel fees, and do not take insurance.
This is my first baby and I was overwhelmed with all the new information I need to know to feed and take care of a newborn. I was lucky to meet Lazara as she is absolutely an Angel and always goes above and beyond in supporting my breastfeeding journey! It’s such a breeze to have Lazara visited
me at home as I don’t have to travel and worry about baby crying/feeding on the road. During every visit, she provided new resources and tools to help me and my newborn in achieving success for breastfeeding and meeting the milestones. I feel comfortable to be around her and reach out to her when I have any questions. One time I was dealing with clogged milk duct, she is so knowledgeable and helped me out with resources and tools with no hesitation. She even responded to my texts late at night/midnight, and continue checked on me until the clogged duct is resolved. Because of her warmth, kindness and dedication, I have been enjoying my breastfeeding time with my newborn 💕 I highly recommend her to my friends and family or whoever is looking for a lactation consultant!
Lazara has been incredibly helpful! I have several lactation complications and Lazara helped me in various way to increase my milk supply 5x (and it is still increasing on a good trajectory). She also solved the ducts in my breast. Beyond that, she also has tons of knowledge on newborns. As a first time parent, it has been very stressful. Lazara guided us towards a healthy nurture of my baby. She loves baby and every time she came I can see how peaceful and happy my baby is with her. I couldn’t recommend more and will come back in the future.
Hands down if it was not for Lazara I would have quit breastfeeding! Not only has she helped my daughter and I find the right positions to breastfeed pain free, she has helped us figure out which products will make breastfeeding the most enjoyable experience I have the opportunity of sharing with my daughter. Lazara helped us with breastfeeding but not only that. She is a wealth of knowledge with pediatric health as well as the health of the mother. From helping me cure my severe case of mastitis to teaching me how to unclog ducts and make sure I didn’t get sore and bruised nipples, her knowledge is irreplaceable and her passion for helping mothers learn and love to breastfeed is unlike any other in the business. Lazara is so much more than just a lactation consultant, she’s a motherly guide for first time moms as well as a friend! 100/5 stars!
Lazara is incredible. She always made herself available and went above and beyond to support me and the baby. She discovered the baby had a tongue tie and helped when I had rough breastfeeding issues. She is also a nurse and can answer any and all questions. I highly recommend her!
