1. I’ve been using Mike Counsil for years. They are reliable, competent and trustworthy. I have had them work on a variety of different plumbing needs. They have fixed the hot water heater, circulation. pumps, basement sump pump, the sewage ejector tanks, as well as small leaks, running toilets etc. Once, we were out of town and the person staying at our home notice a spigot that was broken outside of our home. I immediately called Mike Counsil and they had a plumber out there within the hour.

   I have been nothing but happy with their service and followup. They even addressed repairs on items that were just past the warranty period. I recommend them without hesitation. You may pay a bit more for them but it’s worth the peace of mind and the satisfaction you receive. Pablo, Carlos, Besmer are all awesome plumbers and great guys. Their field supervisor, Gary is a very knowledgeable as master plumber. Call these guys up. you won’t regret it.

2. Update: If I didn’t fix my phone line, would have never known.

   I recently had my annual inspection. I posted my 5 star review. The person was professional a nice; however, I noted that the laundry drain at the clean out would leak on a large load. I was quoted a price, but no one really verified the seriousness of the concern by crawling to the exact location.

   My kitchen phone line was knocked out during the inspection. I didn’t notice for a couple of weeks. I had my electrician crawl to run a new line. He called me and said I have a bigger problem. He saw 3” of water under my plenum.

   I called an HVAC company to troubleshoot thinking it was a blocked condensate. I showed the tech the pictures. He immediately said, it looks like gray water, but I’ll verify. My crawl space is 11”. He crawled, asked me to put a hose down the drain, yelled turn it off, water pouring out of the drain line.

   Since all the ducting was wet, I paid to remove the ducting and schedule a plumber that my that was recommended to me from a friend.

   He verified the issue. Replaced two cast iron combo’s, 11’ of galvanized with ABS. 6 hour job.

   I did not want to update my posted review, but bring it to your attention for training. I never heard back from Mike Council plumbing on this issue. Email sent to ask Mike and the supervisor.

   Pablo was thorough and excellent. He took pictures of my plumbing, recommended repairs. I selected one. He also performed maintenance and warranty work on the water heaters that were covered on the plan, no cost to me.

   The inspection under the house did cause me one problem. One of my phone lines no longer works. I waited too long in my opinion before using the one phone to blame Mike Council. I will bear the brunt to fix it.

3. Matt Sneider and his team did a great job in finishing our plumbing works. He made sure everything were done right to our satisfaction and we are happy with the results of their repairs.

4. Fast and responsive service! Called at 1:30 pm and by 5 we had a new water heater installed and pumping out hot water! The entire experience was painless and very pleasant. The techs arrived in the promised time frame and they cleaned up when they finished the job. Great job!

5. The crew left yesterday after replacing all the kitchen and bathroom drains and pipes both above and below the house. They were very efficient, friendly, and hardworking. Kudos to Rafael, Chris, and Andres. Also the lead, Sergio kept me up to date and well informed. Thanks to all.
