The staff there were very nice and helpful. The tires i needed were not in stock but they had no problem ordering them and picking them up for me with no additional charge all in the same day. I was in & out in no time. There was no appointment needed and no hidden fees.
To say that I would not recommend this location is the understatement of the century. I will give full disclosure: I ran this location for years working directly for the former owners. I was able to help a lot of people, and I also was able to provide jobs to my crew who had been with me for years prior at other shops. Then, the shop was sold, which is an entire other story,l out from under me, and it all changed and FAST. Gone were the days of paying good mechanics for good work. Now, itās only about āhow much money can we possibly make off of you (customer).ā This new company has denied and fought unemployment for not only me, but also 2 other mechanics. They let my master tech, a 65-year-old gentleman believe he still had a job for weeks bc he went out for major back surgery 2 weeks prior to this unexpected takeover (only unexpected bc I was supposed to have bought this location, and we had had multiple conversations regarding such, only to have it sold out from under me with no warning), but they NEVER let him return to work. They cut my pay by 69.85%, despite my contract. They slashed my mechanicsā pay by nearly 80%. They increased prices for customers. They extended our hours, while cutting our pay. They sent some slob-joke-thinks-he-knows-it-all-but-has-a-really-lame-ego-and-awful-personalized-tag-he-thinks-makes-him-look-tough, and he began to assert himself as an āarea manager,ā who just made life absolutely miserable for us all. Anyway, weāve all left the place we have loved and enjoyed performing good mechanic work for years. Theyāre all with me at our new shop, still together, which I will not disclose. This shop doesnāt have a single ASE tech on staff. They donāt have anything but the worst types of techs employed. Your best interests are not in the back of their mind, and if they can attempt to find a way to increase your bill, you had better believe that will happen. Your vehicle likely still wonāt be operational, as thereās no Master Technician on their staff any longer (ask for his/her direct ASE cert number before you believe anything at all, and verify what theyāre certified in). But, that aside, you should not support this place at all, as this owner treats people like actual garbageā¦and your vehicle will likely be more broken than when you showed up. But, by all means, if you donāt believe what Iām saying, go right on ahead and book an appointment. Just make sure that the ātechnicianā actually refills your oil after draining it, as Iāve heard this has been a little problem since we all left. I wonāt recommend another shop, as that decreases my credibility, but I will say that you should avoid this shop and these owners at ALL costs. And, if any of you come after me for slander for posting this, just remember, that I knew for weeks what you all were doing, and I saved everything and recorded every phone call. The defense against slander is the truth, which I have on my side. I KNOW what yāall tried to make me do to customers and employees alike. Iām happy to post every single call and in-office conversation that youāve ever bothered me with.
All they want is a diagnostic fee which is over priced anyway. I tell him wants wrong with my car and I need quote. Then he goes to the diagnostic is going to be 150 I already told you wants wrong with. Iāll just go to tire engineers further down the road there more reasonable on price anyway, hate the new hires wish Jared was still there and old management.
I as charged 150.00 and no work was done on my vehicle. The technician did not know what he was doing and said my ac was working fine. The passenger side was cold and the drivers side hot. So I took it to another mechanic and he fixed it for 65.00. Meineke is a ripoff and will never get my business again. Iāll let as many people know this as I can!!
Help me out today. Had a issue with my car last night ran hot to hear hoses were broken had to park it at meineke overnight left the keys inside the lock box called them at 7:30 when they open and since I had that account it was easy for them to set up what they needed to do and since I was the first one in they got the parts in and like 15 minutes and then after 2 to 3 hours they call me and it was done so I picked it up when I got off work they gave me a good customer appreciation for the price and it was good with me and they do quality work man
