Found this place on google and so glad we decided to stop. We tried a little of everything. Beef brisket, chicken, ribs, sausage, wings, rib candy and baked beans. EVERYTHING was excellent. Leane told us the history of the place including the introduction of the French Fry to the place.
If you are near the area- STOP. Meat boss will not disappoint. Closed Sunday and Monday.
I tried the smoked 1/2 chicken. It was good but, chicken was on the small size. Tender and I could taste the smoke flavor.
I had banana pudding for my side. Probably made a few days ago. It was on the runny side.
I will go back and try some BBQ pork.
I met Ethan today at Meat Boss and he was very helpful with my decision making. He recommended the Boss Burger with added slaw pepper jack cheese and white sauce! 😋 this place is a 10/10 there is no debating when it comes to the Best BBQ in the city hands down!!! Oh, and I never leave without the smoked brisket!
Had thepulled brisket and slaw. Also ribs and beans. Good and tender meat fell of the bone. Nice atmosphere slaw was ok and beans good. Had potatoe salad it was good. Slaw had to much mayonnaise in it for me but my husband loved it. We will be going back. Sweet people at the counter.
Meat Boss has some of the best meats I’ve ever tasted!!! The brisket is soooo good! Omg!!! They aren’t lying abt being the Boss of Meat! Some of the girls were a little snotty but most of them were very very sweet. I wanted to try the fries and I think some had burnt a little and she let me get them for free and let me tell you- THE FRIES WERE DELICIOUS EVEN BURNT!!! my husband got the Rib Plate and said the meant was delicious to him as well and he’s an Executive Chef! I wouldn’t get the Mac n cheese but the meats and fries are sooooooo worth it! Don’t think twice- go eat here!
