My wife and I really enjoyed our 5 day stay at Meadowlark. It is a beautiful place out in the country surrounded by trees and flowers. The breakfasts were good. We enjoyed Kurt dining with us and telling stories about the Napa wineries. We really appreciate being able to swim in the clean pool without bathing suits. Also enjoyed feeding carrots to the horses. We look forward to our return visit.
My fifth stay here. Kurt the owner gracious check in at the pool. Clothing optional glorious and relaxing. Stayed in pool room had kitchenette. Hot tub just outside pool room door. Went with friends to celebrate birthday in a fabulous fun relaxing way. Nearby to the small busy Calistoga center 4 mins away. Def making it on the annual list (along with fire island and PV) for relaxing fun weekend getaway
Meadowlark is a truly special place that we will happily visit again. The rooms are comfortable and spacious, the included breakfast is always delicious and perfect before a day of wine tasting, and the location is ideal for all of our favorite wineries in Napa (Calistoga red wines are so good).
Most of all, Meadowlark offers a deep connection with nature. Lay out by the pool, get comfortable, and watch as birds, bees and butterflies flourish all around this beautiful property. Let the intense California sun thoroughly relax your bones and enjoy the uniquely restful freedom of Meadowlark.
It’s a hidden gem in Calistoga, close to many good wineries and restaurants, while being off the busy main road. Resort ground has welcoming atmosphere packed with great views of the valley. It’s a perfect place for a retreat. The room was well appointed and the whirlpool two-person tub was an excellent bonus. Really enjoyed having great Egg Benedict breakfast with friendly host Kurt and other guests. Already thinking about returning here with other friends or family.
Disgusted and Disappointed. Dead, decomposing cat and tall weeds on patio. Hole in baseboard by the patio door. Outdated and poorly maintained. Minimal staff. Drug store quality hand soap on the Jacuzzi tub in the room. Costco sized shampoo/conditioner. Breakfast was minimal if you don’t eat eggs or are dairy intolerant. No security to speak of. Flimsy locks on doors. Don’t waste your money on this place.
