1. Nice selection of woods. State of the art millwork facility. Great custom service. And family owned and operated.

2. Staff was not attentive. Saw other customers get to sit at the table and get the utmost customer service while I was handed a catalog (after I asked), & I had to ask could I sit at the table. Placed an order for a door for $8k+. Weeks went by and numerous calls no one was able to come out and even get the measurements or give me anything after receiving half the payment as asked w/ a minimum 16 week wait time. Staff member Ken is totally in the wrong profession, dealing with customers is definitely not his fortè. U can absolutely tell it’s not his business nor family business, he’s just there to do his job. Not a smile or personality on any encounter. & the credit card fees are beyond outrageous!!

3. There are not many lumber yards in Montgomery for people who do woodworking as a hobby. Marshall does earn 2 stars for having wood other than plywood for sale for the public. The there selection is decent but the quality is low. Walnut, for example, is very very rough sawn. I would gladly have payed $10 to get the piece square but I wasn’t offered. The gentlemen working the yard knew where wood was but were not approachable or willing to share knowledge. I would not recommend this place to my friends. And they charge some archaic credit card fee.

4. I do repairs to homes new and old and when I need millwork this is the Only place I go. I’ve picked up 20 foot LVL beams, custom cut pieces for trim and learned from the courteous and knowledgeable staff.
   If you can’t find it at the box stores it’s here for sure

5. They had the special trim mouldings I needed when I was remodeling my house. I wanted to keep character features of the house but updated it.
