Having lived in Orange for more than 40 years, I’ve often passed by Main Auto Care. When my air conditioner needed servicing, I looked up reviews and found Main Auto Care. I was happily surprised to secure a same-day appointment. However, I was quite disappointed to learn about the $129 fee just for an assessment, although I appreciated that it was deducted from the final bill. The overall service was fine, but I’m uncertain if I would return due to the assessment charge. I value a mechanic who is open to examining issues, discussing them, and helping to find the best solutions.
I was not happy with my car service.and was in search of a new place. I was in the process of taking my old car to my son after buying a new one. I have driven by Main Street Auto Care many times and on a whim, I stopped and walked in. I was greeted by Troy and talked to him about what I wanted done. After a long list of things I wanted checked and done, he gave me a very quick timeline and a very reasonable quote. He was honest, friendly and very professional. He was as good as his word. The car was completely serviced and quickly. He made it easy. We have several cars in our household, some older and some new. I will take my car to no one else and have since had my newest car serviced by them with the same positive result. A reliable mechanic is on the short list of important people who help me make my life easier. I thank Troy and everyone at Main Street Auto Care and am now a loyal customer. I recommend them highly!!
I currently am visiting California from Illinois and my tire ended up with a flat. Not knowing any places in the area, we took a chance on Main Auto Care. They were recommended by a shop almost next door to them because they were unable to fix my tire. Needless to say it was a fantastic experience and Troy was very welcoming and fixed my tire in less than an hour! He even made sure my spare was put into my trunk correctly. That’s above and beyond compared to what I am used to! I would recommend them 100 times over!
Main Auto Care took care of my car and provided prompt updates regarding the status of the work being done. Great experience that got me out of a dilemma on short notice. Would definitely prefer to take my car here when in the area again! Thank you!
We’ve been taking our vehicles here for years. Troy has been consistently honest, straightforward and timely with our maintenance and repairs. Unlike some places around town, I have never had anyone here try to upsell me on unnecessary things, and I have never had to bring a vehicle back because something was mishandled. My wife has never been talked down to or felt that she’s been taken advantage of – again, that’s something we’ve dealt with at other places. All in all, nothing but positive things to say and I would recommend Troy and the fine folks over there wholeheartedly 👍🏽👍🏽.
