Truly an invaluable resource for anyone breastfeeding. I’ve worked with Lora for all three of my babies and she’s been a lifesaver. Her approach is thoughtful and kind, she’ll be your biggest champion during this crazy time. I can’t reccomend her enough!
So thankful for Lora and all her help in my breastfeeding journey. The first 2-3 weeks of BF were so rough, and her home visit provided me the guidance and encouragement to not give up, yet also not pressuring me to do things a certain way – she always encouraged me to find what works best for our family and never had a judgmental tone. She was also still willing to jump on a call afterwards as a follow up and answered all my questions. Would recommend her to anyone struggling with BF but wants to continue to try.
Lora was an invaluable help she saved my breastfeeding right when I about to lose my mind and give up. I had seen othe lactation consultants, some of which I found out later were not IBCLCs and had zero hands on training, and they had me pumping on rigid schedules and relatching and salving my breasts and herbs and all sorts of exhausting and expensive routines. My sister-in-law found Lora and paid for her to come see me because I had given up on breastfeeding help. Well, I have the best sister-in-law in the world because Lora walked in and within 30 mins had identified the most likely culprit—tongue tie! She helped with positions and a plan that helped me get by until I could see the ENT for diagnosis and treatment. We had the remade done last month and my baby is off bottles!!!! Finally!!! Well, now she has a bottle when I want her to, not because I have to. Do yourself a favor and call Lora. Don’t waste your time with doulas or any breastfeeding specialist that’s not an IBCLC.
Lora is very responsive and helpful, especially in the early days when you are seeking out the right advice for your specific child and her/his needs. She is great at getting back to you quickly in those times of great need!
