1. Absolutely amazing time! I wanted to learn the basics of power tools and wood shop, and I got so much more! My confidence is through thr roof and an unlimited imagination of what to build. Mr. Neil and and his assistant Xander are amazing in helping and making sure I know how and why the functions of the tools and basic wood knowledge. I’m more than welcome to call back anytime with questions on how to complete a project or work a tool. This is not a you start and they finish it type class, and I’m glad it’s not. I’m super proud of myself for what I built, as I’m looking to make this a hobby of mine.

2. I can not say enough about this amazing place and people! Neill and Sylvia truly put in a lot of work, among other things I’m sure, into this business. My husband and I just met them last night and could tell immediately. We participated in one of the date nights. We were given some back story, safety instructions, and some old fashioned hospitality. They served us this delicious dinner and dessert! Best part of that, they made it! We got to really get the full experience with having freedom in the shop. Our creativity got to run wild along with having an experienced instructor to answer any questions. We were given a beautiful selection of wood that we got to choose from. Every tool we needed was available to us. Both them and their staff completely took care of us. It was seriously a very cool experience! We will be back! From start to finish, I highly recommend Longleaf Wood Shop!

   Also, I left my wallet at the shop and Neill kindly called me to let me know. During conversation at the shop, we realized we lived close by each other. He swung by our home to return it to me! Really great people!

3. Wow!! What a nice place. We took a woodworking 101 class and learned to build a simple bench using all the basic tools. Neill is a fantastic instructor. They will also build you a custom piece as well. Their newly finished showroom has samplings of what they can make for you. If you want a unique date night or need a team building event, check them out!!

5. Went here for one of their woodworking classes and wow! The owners were very good teachers, friendly, entertaining, and helpful. The class was their Date Night offering. We were served dinner and it was outstanding. The wood shop is excellent. Plenty of woodworking equipment. We made a cutting board out of a slab of hickory that turned out beautiful!
