Woke up Saturday morning with a hot house and my outside AC unit louder than usual. Called a long heating and cooling and it went to a recorded line. Probably about 30 minutes I got a text asking if I needed to make an appointment Monday morning (memorial day). I immediately responded. They got me in quickly and showed up before the appointment time which was convenient. The diagnosis wasn’t what I wanted but I knew I would have to replaced my unit eventually considering the age. The manager came out and helped me go through my options and was able to get me a new unit installed next day (Tuesday). They discarded the old unit and all the trash. Very pleased with the work that was completed and would highly recommend.
The best customer service! Easy scheduling, arrived on time, very respectful and well-mannered, professional and knowledgeable, answered all of my questions, provided a thorough inspection and high-quality work on my unit. I love how the technicians took their boots off at the door each time they entered the home! They left no trace of their work inside the home. This speaks volumes on how respectful they are with your property. I highly recommend Long Heating and Cooling and will continue to do business with them.
Mr. Long got a team out to my house early Monday morning. The team was professional and let me know the issue was the fan speed controller was not set properly by the installation team.
While this oversight shouldn’t have happened I can deeply respect a company that takes responsibility for their actions and quickly fixes the issue. I am updating my rating accordingly to reflect that.
3 days after purchasing a brand new unit A/C stops working. I went with this company because of the many 5 star reviews so this is baffling to me how the unit can freeze over and stop working less than 72 hours after installation. Internal temp was set no lower than 75.
So either I am the only unlucky person so have gotten a defective unit or installation ever from this company , or they are deleting reviews ?
I have never heard of this company before, but after talking to two other companies on the phone who had horrible customer service, I decided to call Long. I’m really happy I did. The phone call was pleasant and the techs they sent out the next morning were professional and helpful. Ezera and his partner (sorry I didn’t catch his name) were fantastic!!! They were very polite and did a wonderful job! I will definitely call Long again if I need ac work done!
I don’t usually write reviews however, working with Jonah on getting us what we needed for our home was exceptional to say the least. He worked hard and even took time after hours to help us out with any problems we ran into on our side. The whole team was extremely friendly, helpful, and did great work. 10/10 would recommend.
