The only part of the service that was easy was the application and being able to upload our information electronically. My biggest complaints were around miscommunication/information along with a clear lack of follow up. We were told from the very beginning once we submit an application we would have an answer within 3 to 4 days. After waiting a week and not getting a phone call or email I text the representative that had taken our application. The representative reached out and says d the underwriters were still working on it but we would have an answer the next day or the day after that at the very latest . I also sent a message to the service team through the link I was sent back on the 14th and no one from the loan team ever replied. So they don’t check their messaging system. 6 days later I still had not heard from anyone so again I had to try and initiate contact. Reaching out to the same representative. The representative again apologized and said they would reach out directly to a supervisor and we would have a call within 2 hours. That was at 9:53 am. By 2:00 pm I still had not heard from anyone so I reached out AGAIN. The representative apologized AGAIN and said she would reach out to the supervisor. The it was another 4 hours before someone finally called me just to decline me. They under valued our property without even doing a legitimate appraisal. Very frustrating.
So far with the 2 experience that I have had with loan depot has been remarkable. I’m thankful for the service provided. Will keep doing future business with them. Thank you
I worked Jenna at LoanDepot on my previous loan and thanks her outstanding service then, reached back out to her directly when I starting looking for my second home. Jenna goes above and beyond, she is incredibly personable, helpful, and friendly. She has helped me explore multiple avenues and pick the option that works best for me when going through the home buying process. She responds quickly and has helped me with a number of things I didn’t even think to ask about.
Megan is extremely efficient and knows her job well. She takes the time to explain things if you have questions, and being a first time buyer I had alot. Megan makes herself available everyday and responds to communication promptly. I am so glad I had the chance to work with her on my first home buying experience. If I ever need her service in the future she has my business and highly recommend her to others.
Jim is very informative, patient, thorough, and keeps what I need simple. He is on the forefront on interest rates and the advice is great.
