If you’re looking for great food and environment, visit Live Oaks in Auburn, Alabama. The indoor seating is beautiful but the outdoor ambiance is what you want. Enjoy a cool Alabama breeze as your tastebuds surrender to onslaught of flavor from the region’s favorite foods. I’ve had the Shrimp-n-grits, fried chicken, and pork chops but the bread pudding is my favorite. Make sure you try a sweet treat when you stop by. Suggested spinach dip was great. So were the grilled pork chops.
We went to LiveOaks for prom and the nice waitress and manager paid for all of our food. She didn’t have to and it was a very nice gesture. And our bill was pretty pricey. Will definitely be returning. The steak was the best my date has ever had and the mac and cheese bites were to die for!
We always enjoy going to have appetizers and drinks at their beautiful outdoor bar! Great for watching SEC football.
Burger reminded me of a Wendy’s Baconator which is fine but not for $17. Blackened grilled chicken breasts were dry and plain with ground pepper flakes. Not quite what we expected. Guess there was a reason that they had lots of availability when there was an hour wait at Hamilton’s.
