Shay is an incredible lactation consultant. She came to our house 3 days after our baby was born and we are so grateful for her help. First time mom here and no amount of reading prepared me for breastfeeding so Shay saved us a lot of frustration and tears. She patiently answered question after question, provided hands on guidance, and was just a text away in between visits. She provided us with a game plan, prepared us for what was to come, and also gave us peace of mind (sharing what’s normal, what to look out for, weighing baby girl so we knew how much she was getting during feedings, etc). 10/10 recommend!
Shay is AMAZING. She’s been my lactation consultant since the day we got home from the hospital. Though we didn’t have any major blockers or red flags at that point, I wanted to make sure we were set up for success with individualized support. She is kind, calm, supportive, and made me feel very comfortable. At both visits she stayed a couple of hours, really getting to know both me and my baby. She had so much information to offer and it definitely made my breastfeeding journey so much easier. She also is available by text for questions at any hour of the day, which is so helpful for a first-time mom with a million questions. I would definitely recommend Shay!

She has helped me tremendously with my newborn. Being a first time mom, I had no clue how to keep up with the nursing needs of my baby with a very little milk supply. Shay has helped out to write down an amazing pumping and nursing plan for me which helped me to increase my supply gradually and I have been able to take care of my baby’s growing needs. During the initial days, She had also corrected and guided me through things like proper latching, proper baby position, feeding quantities etc.
Without her, It would have been hard for me to reach my breastfeeding goals for my baby. Not only this, as a coach, she has always been available to answer even the dumbest question I have ever asked her along with providing her recommendations.
If you are looking for a caring, compassionate and amazing lactation consultant who is available for you as a friend then Shay is your person.
I had such an amazing experience with Shay! She gave me the confidence to breastfeed when I felt it was impossible. With just a few minor tweaks, breastfeeding became enjoyable and I’m so happy I was able to get the help I needed!
