  1. Absolutely ridiculous! They need to UPDATE on all 3rd party services that the hotel is undergoing construction! Would have been nice to know when before booking here! All the immensities that I was looking forward to having while staying here was unavailable, and no discounts for the inconvenience was offered or anything. Paying this much for nothing but a tiny room I could have stayed at a motel if this was all I was getting. Everything is closed off no lounge no Lobby no bar or restaurant Nothing! There should at least be a sign that says where to check in at everyone was just waking around the Main Street looking for the entrance. I’m not even mad at the staff it’s not their fault they just work there but the hotel should still offer their guest SOMETHING since there’s nothing else you can enjoy. I’m so disappointed this trip . Yes you still pay full price for parking although space is limited since the “lobby” in now inside the parking garage. Update all the damn website to inform people of this! Not wait till your guest get here and have no choice but to have to stay!!!!!!!

  2. We booked this a year in advance. When we got there, there was renovation going on in the lobby. We got to our room, and there was no running water. We were told it had to be shut off for some pipe replacement. That was OK with us. It was supposed to come with a full complimentary breakfast. We found out later that they were only handing out a muffin and some juice in a container. The shuttle to and from the airport was supposed to be free. At check out, we were told it was going to be $10 each way. My wife argued with them about it and even asked for a manager, who was not available. In the end, they were not going to charge us for the shuttle, but we’ll have to wait and see until we get our final bill. They also had the wrong information recorded on their answering service on catching the shuttle from the airport. It took us 1.5 hours of walking around outside the airport to figure out and find the correct pickup point. The whole thing was like a bait and switch operation. The rooms were clean and nice and comfortable though.

  3. We’ve stayed in la Quinta since 2014 and this was the worst experience we’ve had. The front desk clerk was rude. There’s no TV as apparently they’re undergoing contract negotiations. The hotel is being renovated so there’s no lobby, porta potties were out in the garage for use. The elevator in the parking garage was out of order so we had to roll our luggage down the parking garage ramps where cars were driving by. They allow dogs but there’s no green space for them and there’s just a sidewalk in front with cars speeding by. I understand it’s in the city but there was space they could put grass for the dogs. All the guests of the hotel looked miserable and were complaining. And they charge $45 parking fees per day.

  4. Terrible experience at this hotel. The whole time me and my family stayed there it smelled like drainage. The bathrooms have no ventilation which causes the entire room to fill up with that horrendous smell. No electricity at all in certain outlets. The sheets were dirty and had what seemed like a urine stain. They charge 50$ a day for parking, which is ridiculous. The hotel was also under construction and repair which had loud and unpleasant noises. There was hairs in our pillows. Homeless people smoking weed in the parking elevators and sleeping under the stairs. It is ridiculous that they say they serve breakfast and only give a water and a apple. Like come on, even a homeless person eats better food living off in the streets.

  5. Hotel in a very good location on the main street leading to/from LAX airport in Los Angeles. Across from Subway with sandwiches and in the other direction Mc Donald’s and a gas station with a small store where you can buy the most necessary things.

A very big downside was the lack of a regular shuttle service from the airport to the hotel. Following the directions from the bookings and the Internet, we went to the pickup point by shuttle buses. Unfortunately, the bus from La Quinta did not stop and did not pick us up. We waited more than an hour (it should run every 15-20min) and the shuttle did not appear. Only through the courtesy of a driver from a nearby hotel, we got to La Quinta.

While the rooms are spacious and clean, the hotel itself could use a refresh. The reception desk looked like it was a makeshift. The elevators were dilapidated inside. There was no kitchen or dining area. The hotel looked like the pictures only from the outside and in the room. Everything else, as if from another place. Some of the staff smiling and helpful, some as if we were unnecessary ballast. We tried to follow the signs to the gym, but all the doors according to the signs were locked. Breakfast, it’s even a travesty. A tiny bottle of water plus a tiny package of apple juice, an apple and a muffin – all wrapped in a plain commercial and issued wholesale at the pseudo reception. It looked like the flimsy layette of an all-inclusive hotel in Europe when you go on a day trip to explore the area.

On the lowest level, parking is available, from which you can easily access the “reception area,” where there is also a small snack rack for sale.
There are some unpleasant people hanging around.
Poor value for money – very expensive for such conditions.
