The location was great. It was a short 10-minute drive from John Wayne airport. And the outside of the place is nice and clean and put together. The room look run down and like it needed a fresh coat of paint. The beds were nice and comfortable. It’s proximity to the freeway gives you a lot of background noise. The breakfast in the morning was prepackaged muffins and coffee. The juice machine only half worked. The staff was very kind and friendly and helpful.
Location is okay, pretty convenient after long road trips. The staff was nice checking in. When we got to the room it was okay but the floors are extremely dirty! Wear flip flops or socks if you can. Our bathroom smells like cigarettes, the toilet won’t flush unless we open up the lid and manually do it , the sink is clogged and takes forever to drain. At least the shower works…
I am a regular here. Love it. Can’t complain. There’s nothing to complain about honestly. Vin is a great manager. Has a wonderful team 24/7 dealing with handling all kinds of people. They work very well under pressure, never loose their composure. They stay very respectful. Always helpful and polite. Check in is always great. Id give them all ten stars if u could. Thank u guys! keep up the good work. 👍 U are appreciated (I know y’all never hear this so I’m saying it)
I have stayed here quite a few times over the course of the past month and I can say I have not ran into any issues with the rooms or the staff. As a matter of fact Neel at the front desk went above and beyond for me today when I accidentally booked the wrong room type when trying to extend my stay another night instead of putting me in a standard room which I had selected on accident he allowed me to stay in my deluxe room that I was originally staying in. Rather than charging me extra or making me move all my belongings to the standard room. Good job Neel. Way to accommodate your guests!!
This hotel is not friendly for women who are traveling alone. There is a lot of people who just hang around. Lines form outside of two different rooms of people waiting to charge their phones in the room. I had an issue with billing and when I asked for helped I was talked down to and called names. I was told by the property manager that I was being “petty” for questioning my bill and when walking away from the desk the manager and employee were laughing at me. They didn’t understand my questions and talked down to me instead of trying to help or understand. They put a hold on my card for double what my stay was and weren’t sure why I questioned it, silly me for catching an error that was made and asking for it to be made right in the time it takes for holds to fall off my card. The room was dirty, hair in the towels, stains on the sheets. I was there from Thursday to Sunday and never got fresh towels are my room cleaned. Don’t count on their “breakfast,” each day there someone had to be tracked down to refill the muffins (not even name brand) or coffee which is all that was offered. It’s a very good location, just a shame I did not feel safe here as a solo female traveler (largely due to how the male employees on the property treated me.)
