  1. The guy at the check in desk was friendly, helpful and funny. Didn’t catch his name. Got a room on the ground floor. Beds were clean, sink was clean and shower was clean. Pet friendly, $50 non-refundable deposit. Idk if they ever mop the floors, they were black and sticky, the toilet did not flush. If you’re tall you have to duck in the shower, which has very little water pressure. We got a good deal on the room, it’s right off the highway, right near food, the river and a decent park.

  2. If you need a cheap and easy place after a long day of driving, this isn’t a bad place for it. I would not, however, plan a family trip or multiple nights if you can afford something a bit better. It’s clear the staff tries hard, the rooms are cleaned well and the front desk is nice enough but the rooms feel old and empty.

Things you don’t tend to notice in nicer hotels (paint missing on the walls, crooked outlets) feel much more noticable. The room itself for a queen was large and empty feeling, but the bathroom was small and cramped (especially with the door opening inward). There were electrical issues (the staff did warn us they’d had an outage recently), and some bugs crawling around the bathroom early morning.

  3. Seriously recommend you stay elsewhere! Room was pretty gross! There was hair all over the towels, the bed spread had cigarette holes, and the walls and floors had a plethora of different stains. The bed was was super lumpy and made loud sounds anytime I would turn. First time I slept in a bed with my clothes on. If was so tired from my drive I would’ve seriously stayed elsewhere.

The only thing the hotel has going for itself is the location. Perfect walking distance to dining options.

The staff were friendly but you can seriously tell they all do the bare minimum!

  4. This is a very poorly maintained hotel. My room had baseboards peeling from the wall, two bugs on the floor along with long black hair, the sheets and pillow cases are dingy, the room doesn’t smell clean, floors do not feel clean, outside the sidewalks are dirty with various spill/splash resides. The pool gate was not unlocked during stated hours, when I asked the front desk it was never opened. The bfast staff and maintenance person were the highlight. While I ended up being safe, I didn’t feel safe. This place was affordable, but paid way too much and it is near the highway interchanges so that is convenient.

  5. Good for a short stay. Received a very bland greeting from front desk. Breakfast hrs vary from weekdays to weekends. A lot of things that could be better in rooms. Bathroom is small. Was out for most of first day and Had to get my card key reprogrammed when we went back. Parking was a bit dirty could have been the homeless that are spotted around. Pool is ok. Pool area needs a good cleaning and landscaping. Starbucks, IHOP, Arby’s in walking distance. Fridge DID NOT work. Not cold at all. Elevators did not work because of renovations I believe. Did not see pests in our room. Bathroom towels were hair free ***Not sure if I missed note when I reserved room on Expedia but they charge a $100 deposit. Which is refundable (posted on note on reception counter) ***
