I needed a money order for my rent and because I work late and don’t have the time to stop during my work day to get one, Conner with the red vest tells me that the money order machine is shut down. He said, he can do but he’s not we close that at 10!!! I just knew it stayed open until the store closed!!! Thanks a lot Kroger I love you for this.
The employees here have worse attitudes than the ones at Walmart somehow. Any time I use self checkout I’m talked down to like an idiot if something happens with the machine. I would understand if I was doing something silly, but 99% of the time it’s because I move the wrong way and the camera determines I’m stealing a 99 cent vegetable, or I didn’t put something in a bag fast enough. Last week I mentioned to a guy stocking in the cold section that it looked like there were cracked eggs in every single carton available and that he may want to let someone know. I got an eye roll and an annoyed huff. I’ve never treated a service worker unkindly so it majorly throws me off why the ones here seem so combative in every interaction. I’d go to a different location if they weren’t so much farther away.
I was preparing a cook out for holiday and I knew Kroger was barbecuing some ribs .So I went by to pick up slab they are very tasty.
Clean and organized. It’s not the cheapest (like Aldi’s or Walmart), but it isn’t the most expensive (like Publix). It’s almost always very busy and can be difficult to find a close parking spot.
Not all Kroger’s are created equal but this one always has everything I need and friendly faces to help me find what I cannot. They have a Starbucks inside but they are not allowed to take on-line tips. They have an amazing cheese selection and the best olive bar in this town.
