The last time i was in the store was no where close to past experiences. Before, I used to love going. All they had open was self check. I donāt do self check. I had chosen a half gallon of milk that had a mushed up bar code. I had other groceries as well. I donāt know how to weigh produce on their gadget! There was an employee who was supposed to be there for assistance. I walked back, got another 1/2 gallon of milk. Iām well over 65. I was shopping for my daughter or I would have just left the buggy. I have no idea what happened to my Favorite Kroger, but I will not be back. It used to be extra friendly and itās ā0ā in my book. That one employee could have been a n open cashier, but nooooo. This was on a Friday. Itās not convenient for anyone who has more than just a few items. Iām not on their payroll, I should never have to use self check outs! Shame on your management.
Everything was ok except when I was checking out. The water was on sale for $3.99 for 40 and was ringing up $4.99 so the cashier corrected it. Then I realized when i got home-20 mins later, that the Almond Breeze Almond milk didnāt ring up correctly. It was on sale and didnāt ring up on sale. I used to go to Kroger a whole lot more years ago, but Iāve never noticed them getting the prices wrong on anything like that and for it to happen twice in one visit was a little unusual. Other than that-all was ok.š
The new manager (Iām assuming since she was barking orders at the employees) is going to run away what customers and employees they have left. They only had self check out open and I had about $300 worth of groceries and while I was scanning them I overhead her talking to other people telling them to āwatch meā and then kept walking back and forth around me not saying anything just to watching me scan which is weird then she sent another employee over to scan items that were below my cart when I had already scanned them and I said Iām not paying for it twice if it was going to get scanned again. The employee looked like he hated his job and didnāt say anything to me he then told the manager lady (she was wearing a brown like jogger suit) and said āshe already scanned thatā. Then I heard more whispering. I have been coming to this store over 15 years but this is the last time I will ever come back to this Kroger location I have never been treated like that in all the years I have came there. Their is to many grocery stores in the area for corporate or whoever is in charge to allow this woman to come in and ruin the store. As I was loading my groceries two employees were talking about this woman and then I started talking and told one of them what had just happened and they said that manager has been treating all customers like they are thieves and agreed that sheās going to run off the staff and customers.
This location is very run down and dingy looking. It is in desperate need of a renovation. Shelves are always low in stock or empty, and produce rarely looks good. I have done pick up a couple of times here, and cold and frozen foods were never cold. They would be room temp at the coldest, or melted.
Ordered from the delivery service Instacart because I was without transportation. I thought this would be convenient for me but it turned into a disaster. My groceries were left on someone elseās door (not sure who) because the driver couldnāt find my house. No picture of the drop off, which they usually do. They claimed GPS couldnāt find my address. I was out about 60.00 in groceries. Now, I canāt see the receipt online to review the loss. Oh well, no more Kroger! I shouldāve starved!
