Porter lacks sympathy, in my experience, but worse than that is his visible disdain for patient questions. His short and borderline-derisive responses give one the impression that he thinks proactive patients are naĂŻve and possibly even stupid. Also disquieting is that he dumbs his vocabulary down excessively for patients. Not a good fit if you have half a brain.
He also has a one-track mind when it comes to diagnoses. Donât give him any hints if you want to get a full diagnosis that considers all the possibilities.
Dr is super nice and seems knowledgeable. But you have to get BY the filthiest doctors office I have ever seen. Linda at the front desk is rude and Condescending. Wonât listen to anything you say but will raise her voice and yell at you to LISTEN. Might work with some patients, but not from me. This was my first and last visit here. I sneezed the whole time here from the filth. Bet this place hasnât been cleaned since before COVID.
My husband has seen him 2 times and he left Dr Sellerâs office
But when we tried to make an appointment with him, the receptionist said that he told her to tell my husband that he was not accepting him as a patient because his condition was out of his practice. And since the Dr had changed to a new place,that my husband was considered a new patient. So now he needs his medicine so who do we turn to. They did not refer him to any one and the receptionist was actually a little nasty. Wasnât perfessional at all.
Thanks to Linda for squeezing me in when she did, she heard the desperation in my voice and was kind enough to get me in asap. She is a kind woman that does a lot in that office. Thanks also to Dr. Porter for referring me to a specialist that I never heard of and getting me to the correct doctor, that was really helped me. I also appreciate that many types of tests and bloodwork that can be done here so I donât have to travel all over the city to get them done. Overall I am very satisfied with my care and I donât care that some of the equipment may be a little older.
Dr. Porter has the unique gift of head knowledge and the ability to discern what the problem of each patient. He doesnât treat you as a cookie cutter.
