  1. I visited the jewelry counter at this location on 8/30 and had to ask for assistance, immediately I could tell that the employee, Rose was bothered by me. I explained that I was simply inquiring about jewelry repair on a ring purchased there. Immediately she begins to ask me where is your paperwork, you know you have to have our care plan. I explained that I understand that if I donā€™t have said plan I would pay out of pocket. Her tone and demeanor was very unfriendly. She then tells me she will have to get a manager but she does not have one available. I finally said, ā€œnevermind Roseā€. I walked out down the way to Kay and was assisted immediately and will do business there from here out. This JCP continues to go down hill.

  2. I ordered blue jeans online. Turns out they didnā€™t work out so I went to the store to return them. I had taken the tags off when I tried them on but I kept the tags.
When I went to the store to return them with my receipt and the tags the gal told me they couldnā€™t take them back because the tags were removed ( but they were in the pocket). I asked to talk to the manager.
When the manager arrived I recognized her (donā€™t recall her name) and asked if she remembered ordering these for me last week. She didnā€™t remember me, but I said Iā€™m pretty sure you are the lady who ordered these for me.
She said ā€œ Well we all look alikeā€. ( she is black)
I was very shocked by this comment from her and not how to respond, so I said nothing. Was she trying to start something with me?
I accepted my refund and left. I will never return to this store.

  3. Was not really happy for my overall experience bought some rings ands it just seems like other than the manager the staff in the jewelry department is not trained properly. Someone had signed that I had picked up my ring I hadnā€™t they were very disorganized I spent over 1000.00 on my jewelry so I am just a bit disappointed with how unorganized the staff was without management they would be lost made me feel like I should have went to Kayā€™s jewelry and Iā€™m not like trying to bad mouth the store but I just felt the staff either didnā€™t care or wasnā€™t trained properly

  4. Nice store. Great service, but sad when you go to return items. Unless you have a pennys membership, youā€™ll only get ā‰ˆ40% back of what you spent. My relative returned two dresses that cost about/right at $100, and they almost only got one dressā€™s worth of money back. Only got the full amount back when they realized my relative has a membership. I guess only make purchases youā€™re positive your going to keep, unless youā€™re either a member or just want to waste a good chunk of your money.
