Jamil not only helped me sell my first home, but he helped me purchase my second home. He’s a great realtor and extremely helpful and thorough during the entire process. The process in selling my first home went so smooth, he had my back the entire time, assisted in negotiating that helped me as the seller, always listened to my needs and made sure to accommodate as best as he could. Last February, I transitioned to a new team at work in the west, requiring a move from NC to CA with just a couple of months to plan. Fortunately, I had Jamil’s contact information from a few years ago. I reached out to him, sharing my desired location, budget, and the need for a house ready by the end of June 2024. Within a week, Jamil found the house I now call home. The process was seamless, and he handled all the details with the builder, allowing me the time and freedom to rent out my NC home and plan my move. This was a tremendous relief.
During the walkthrough a couple of days before closing, Jamil was present and identified several minor issues in the house that required repairs—problems I would’ve overlooked, especially with the house being new and assuming everything was perfect. There are a million people who will say that their realtor is the best but we seriously mean it! Prior to meeting him we looked at so many homes without any luck. We felt like other realtors either did not listen to our wants, were unable to help us narrow down our preferences, or showed us homes completely out of our budget.
Jamil is a full time realtor and I’ll explain why that matters. I called him on the phone for an initial interview and within an hour and a half, he was showing us a house that we requested to see. A few days after that, he found our house and our offer was accepted all within a week of our initial call. Additionally, he met every deadline set in the contract with ease and was able to meet with us after hours, due to our sporadic work hours. He even showed our house twice in one day; so each person in the house hold could view the home due to schedule conflicts. He’s very professional, reliable, and was always just a text or phone call away. He was patient and listened to us intently during every conversation. He gave great guidance and it never felt like his goal was to just sell a house. It always felt like his goal was to sell us the correct house.
Honestly, all we had to do was say we want THIS house and Jamil made it happen by doing the legwork. We got to really enjoy the buying process because of how confident we were in Jamil’s skill set to seal the deal and make our home buying dream a reality!
