I returned to JH this year after working with a great tax preparer last year. Since I’d moved, I went to a new location. I was charged $500 for a tax appointment that lasted 50 minutes. What a rip off! It was not what I was expecting based on my previous experience. The only explanation I got was that it was because I have a dependent (which didn’t change from the previous year) which required extra paperwork (even though that information was already in their system and required no extra work). I don’t pay $500+ an hour for anything. My tax filing was simple and uncomplicated. I won’t be back.
I started using Jackson Hewitt and tax preparer Leah Fugat a couple of years ago after nobody would help me as well as the tax preparer I used for 15 years previously. Because of how I was treated respectfully and I didn’t have to pay IRS and received my largest refund i had ever received. I will always use Jackson Hewitt.
The Tax Pro was Very Professional, courteous and helpful; I could even Ask Tax questions. The answers was understandable and detailed I will definitely be returning next year to Jackson Hewitt to get my Taxes done.
It was very helpful for me this year. I did not get much in a refund but taxes are important and I was confused. Thanks to Jackson Hewitt I can but that behind me. One thing I may have had been concerned with but after thinking I realize that tax preparation is kinda competitive so posting prices for Services may lead to being under cut. So overall I am Satisfied.
