1. The staff went out of their way to make me feel comfortable. The rooms were exceptionally clean giving me a great night for sleepy time. The breakfast is legendary providing enough options for the majority of travelers. I even cooked myself dinner utilizing the immaculate kitchen. Thanks for all of the hard work making my time in San Diego extra special.

2. Stayed here for one night a few weekends ago in a private room. It was wonderful. The staff was super friendly and helpful, the people around were great as well. I could tell that they had cultivated a friendly community which was really nice to see.

3. Staff were all very nice and the location is right in little italy; the trolleys and busses are a few minute walk away. That said, some areas of this location were very dirty and rundown; I’m talking fans in the kitchen full of caked on dust, mold in the bathroom showers, stained cloth chairs, and NO SCREENS ON THE WINDOWS or AC. If you want to cool your room, let bugs fly in. Very strange.

   The breakfast is OK for free; just eggs and pancakes you have to cook yourself. There is a very threatening sign above the sink about a fee if you’re caught not washing your dishes. It actually asks guests to report each other.

   They did have events advertised and I never felt unsafe there. The bed was comfortable and a private bathroom was nearby.

   This place could be very nice if it just got a good cleaning and paint/spackle job; it’s so dirty and really a shame!

   The stairs, you must be careful. It felt like a third of my foot was hanging off they are so tiny. You can’t walk normally on them or your foot will bounce off the walls (pics added).

   Beds are nice and private with the curtains

   No washcloths but for $2 you can have a towel.

4. I have stayed 2 days here. Its an old building with another additional dwelling unit seperate from main one around the same block. The staff seems okey but they probably dont know what they are doing for exm. they could barge in to your dormitory in the middle of the night turning all lights on to check new guest in. Another thing is the cleaning. Its an old building so dont expect much, this is not staffs fault thou i belive its too hard to thorougly clean the place. They have breakfast thats a plus. Main issue i think was the rat noise coming from the wall right next to my bed. But like i said somethings are coming with building. I would suggest the owner to get couple cats to the premises. They would prolly greet guest better than current employees and you ll have pest control on duty. Another plus side is the location. So well centrally located.

5. Selah, Adriana, and, the girl with the glasses are the best!!! At first like most things i was shy, and keeping my space. But then they just suck you in and you can’t refuse to be there friends! Just be sure you can hold your liquor🙃
