I went in and completed an application and was told that they had lots of jobs. After not hearing anything I went in again. The staff didn’t have time to even take my name. They hurriedly rushed me out. After more than a month I never heard anything. Several of the guys that live where I do got jobs there. I would not bother with these unprofessional people. Just a bunch of lazy office workers!
My son is a recent college graduate from UAB. He decided to seek services through InTime staffing on 22 May 2024, to seek employment while in between jobs. He was provided a job opportunity to work with Vulcan Defense (security company) during the SEC Baseball Tournament on Thursday, May 23-26. He was quoted at an hourly rate of $14 an hour (with no taxes taken out *red flag). He worked a total of 44.50 hours. He was told that he would receive payment within 48 hours from pay roll. As of today, June 6, 2024, He have yet to receive payment from his services rendered. There have been several attempts to seek resolution from the company, but they have failed in every effort. They have redirected me to the security company or SEC has not provide an invoice , but his original contract agreement was with them, NO one else. He had been given the run around with no compensation for my services. I want him to fight his own battles, but when people take advantage of young people who are trying to do the right thing ..shame on you guys..shame shame. If this issue is not resolved we will be filling a complaint with the department of labor.
*6/7- Please note. I am not confused about your illegal manipulative business practices. You linked your potential clients to future employees/agencies, such as Vulcan Defense System. If they are not a reputable company, who don’t honor their contact then why are you sending clients to them. I’m sure your company has been paid for the referral for service, why can’t he be paid. Nothing on this contract agreement said an employer will not be paid until this or until that, so with that being said I have reviewed the appropriate party that is responsible for the initial issue. Thank you.
6/8- We receive a called that the SEC invoice was paid and payment was transmitted for payment…will keep you updated…
