Great hotel. Wonderful staff, the reception, the cleaning team, the security, all professional. An old hotel with a great location, has a nice bar (on the top of the building)… what deserves more credits is they still cleaned my room very thoroughly when I forgot to leave the tips in the early morning, my sincere apology because I cannot find who were cleaning. They chose to be professional, I respect that! Anyway, if you’re in this hotel and you feel welcomed, please tip for the good service.
Located within walking distance of… Well, just about everything you need to keep you occupied in your spare time. Service was phenomenal, room was clean and comfortable – all in all, zero complaints about my stay. Just be mindful that room deposits are not posted *anywhere* until you actually check in.
This is my first time staying here, but I LOVE this hotel! I am very happy with my stay here! The accommodations, food, service, room size, the gym is EPIC & the VIEW are all A+ in my opinion. I also love hotels that have plush robes in the room. To top it off, my room also had w/ complimentary slippers,😊 and push button blinds & a privacy push button too (g’ bye hang tags👍🏽) and the gift shop has very REASONABLE prices! This is definitely a hotel that gets excellent customer satisfaction. I’ll definitely be back.
This one was a bit of a surprise shocker as our experience with IHG Hotels has been lately more miss-than-hit. New building, new rooms, great indoor pool and hot tub, very good gym. This hotel does have a lounge we didn’t partake in, but was $70/person/night (included breakfast). Close enough to a train station as well as to some convenient options (like Whole Foods) but the block immediately to the west of the hotel was a little sketchy. It’s a significant walk to the bay if that’s your objective, but it can be done (otherwise, you can hop on the train nearby). Staff were fine, received a floor upgrade with our status, but had to ask about our additional points (no drinks were offered at check-in, but they may not offer them at this hotel). Can recommend, but just be prepared for the walk.
Great location….safe neighborhood away from downtown and walking distance to the piers and Chinatown. Room was a suit with a view, but the room needs an update with a smart TV to get 5 stars. Great views, staff was nice and professional. Gym was old but worked for what I needed. I would stay again because of the location. We walked all we wanted to see and stayed away from the crazy homeless that hang around downtown and lower Powell Street.
