  1. Indian wells is a great place to stay while in Palm Springs. The only thing this time around was the elevator was out of order for two of the days I was there. For a pregnant women that was a bit of a pain to walk up to the second floor & to my room. On the other hand the great breakfast made up for it. I loved how I did not have to leave the resort for meals. The pool was a life savor for the hot days. The pool was a great spot to hangout at in the evenings. Overall I love staying here & hope to be back again. Staff was great.

  2. The positive 1st. Sometimes they have good deals.
Good coffee in the AM. & Nice lobby area.
The continental breakfast is better than nothing so I appreciate that!

The negative: They gave me the smallest room (I guess) of the hotel knowing that I had a baby and we carry a lot of stuff as a result.
The toilet was out practically (terrible).
And unfortunately the noisiest neighbors I had.
Had to call 2 times front desk around 3:00 am.
A nice lady at the front desk helped the situation which I appreciate but wow, it was supposed to be a “relaxing” wkend for me as an exhausted mother of a 1 year old baby.
The gentleman at the front desk (day shift) not really into customer service. (Barely heard my complains the next morning when I tried to tell him about my experience) pretty much care less about what happens there.
Also $20 parking? That’s a lot for public parking outside the building, plus a family member ended up picking up the car I was driving for the wkend. 🙁
A little too overwhelming the many pictures & frames of the founders of the hotel thou. (Everywhere…)
The Hwy 111 just front of the room 😩not good idea.
For all these reasons not sure if I can recommend it.

  3. Unless you want to pay more than double your original quote to stay here. Just stay away. The mattresses are old and spring loaded. Probably one of the most uncomfortable beds I’ve slept in, in my adult life. The pool is a hot tub. Not refreshing in the slightest. I asked to use a microwave one night to heat up soup. Was just straight up denied with no other solution and just kind of rude. I feel almost bad leaving a bad review but you need to know before staying here. The amount of added resort fees, parking fees and every other tax known to man they will charge you for. It’s absolute highway robbery. Avoid avoid avoid!

  4. I can’t rate im a local my family of 1942. I got told “no locals are allowed to stay” “only on rare circumstances” . She was sweet she’s not at fault she’s just front desk. However 9 cities in the valley are refused. ” You have to show an ID that showes you don’t live here. The Esmeralda will take me and my friend just get out of the house one night. I have to give one star review. I’m sorry. That one star goes to the sweat heart at the desk.

  5. I’ve been coming to this hotel since 2021, my wife was pregnant when we came here for the first time so we had some sentimental moments here. We’ve continued to come back even though it’s the lower of all the hotels around the area but today was the final straw, it was such low quality, rooms food elevator broken room phone doesn’t work the beds were terrible absolutely terrible and small. On my way to receptionist to express my concerns I seen what looked like a roach in the floor took a photo and the person at the front desk had no care in the world about my displeasure. Crazy. Last time I come back. Worst part is I feel bad writing this, I used to love this hotel, idk what happened.
