  1. HUGE selection of vintage clothes with a focus on cowboy, BUT

Venture downstairs – that’s where they have the really interesting stuff in my opinion. Old uniforms – school, military, scouting, forest ranger – you name it! Some are really vintage, like 1950s/60s. I also found the basement items were a bit more reasonably priced than upstairs.

There’s also an UPSTAIRS, loft level with shoes and boots, but in my opinion the basement was solid gold.

Even if you aren’t looking for clothing, this place is like a museum of mid-century clothing of all styles. It’s right on Hollywood Boulevard, so add it to your to-do list in L.A.!

  2. The store is definitely for people who have money to spend. There was a beat-up pair of chuck tailors that I saw $25. I think it runs about 60 bucks on the Convers website. There’s other thrift stores that wouldn’t sell it anymore than $15. Probably 10. But that’s obviously not the point of what they’re trying to do here. They’re catering to people with a specific esthetic. Individuals who wanna look poor but obviously are not? Lol

They do have some really interesting costumes. Like disco seventies type of stuff , flapper party dresses, marching band the uniforms, cheerleader uniforms, the like.
I did buy a belt here a while back that was $15. The painting on it chipped 2 days after I brought it home. However, I literally have not seen one like it ever. Even after all these years.

As far as the stuff that was falling apart
. the stuff that was falling apart that I saw was in the 50% off section. I don’t know. Maybe if you’re into fixing things up and making it into something new, it can be a good use?

All in all, this is a vintage boutique, not a thrift store, so keep that in mind when you’re coming here. I’d say it’s a great place to go if you wanna have fun with a friend and try on funny outfits and have a good time.

  3. Overpriced for what they are selling, the quality just isn’t there. A lot more store brand clothes than I expected, rather than it being all vintage. They definitely have cute things if you’re willing to shell it out. Multiple floors of clothing, staff was super sweet, and there is an in-store cafe.
