  1. Absolutely outstanding experience with Adam at Howard’s! We initially visited the store intending to purchase just one item, but after speaking with Adam, we ended up buying five items. His exceptional customer service truly sets him apart. We had shopped around at multiple stores, including Best Buy and Costco, but none matched the level of service we received from Adam.

    Adam’s approach was thorough and personalized. He began by giving us a tour of Howard’s and sharing the store’s history, which was a nice touch for our first visit. He then took the time to ask us detailed questions to understand our needs and preferences. His expertise and genuine interest in helping us find the perfect products made the whole process smooth and enjoyable.

    Adam’s service was so impressive that I’ve already referred him to my family, who will be visiting the store next week to purchase their appliances.   2. We’ve been loyal customers of Howard’s Laguna Niguel for over 10 years, and in that time, we’ve purchased two refrigerators, two TVs, and two sets of washers and dryers. Every experience has been fantastic, thanks to Albert. He’s consistently been helpful, knowledgeable, and made the entire sales process a breeze. Plus, the prices are always very competitive, which makes shopping there even better. I wholeheartedly recommend Howard’s for any of your appliance or electronic needs—they truly make shopping easy and enjoyable.

  3. Great experience with Howard’s customer service with Nid! Very knowledgeable and friendly – they also have a very large and well maintained collection of appliances. We just went to check it out after checking out Best Buy- wow what a difference- they didn’t know anything, and really didn’t want to help us buy our appliance, also the whole area seemed beat up and at Howard’s you can really tell they care about showcasing their stock.

  4. We can not recommend Howard’s enough , specifically ADAM KOHAN, who provided EXCEPTIONAL service!!! Our oven broke, right before Thanksgiving. When our property management company indicated they were unable to secure a range in time for Thanksgiving to serve our guests, we found Adam at Howard’s. He worked extensively with us, provided numerous options, ultra professional, kind, and compassionate. Adam’s generosity of spirit and stellar ethic secured our range on time for Thanksgiving. The delivery team was equally as spectacular. Don’t waste another second, unbeatable service and cost effective, call Adam at Howard’s, he will take care of you. Thank YOU, Adam, for making our Thanksgiving!! We are ever grateful!!

  5. Worst experience ever!

    Went in to purchase a Bosch refrigerator. Was told it would take 2 weeks – not ideal, but we agreed. Was told delivery would be challenging because we live in Laguna Beach and they had to charge $800 for a small truck and additional men. Again, not ideal, but we weren’t there to haggle and best the best deal. We just needed a refrigerator delivered asap.

    Salesperson asked for payment and we were surprised he only charged 20% of the total, but figured they would collect the rest on delivery.

    About 1.5 weeks later we called to confirm the delivery date. That’s when we found out they had not even ordered the refrigerator. They claim they need led full payment to place an order with the factory, which left us wondering (1) why that was not made clear to us when we first placed the order, (2) why the salesperson had not followed up to see if they should proceed with the order and (3) what the purpose of the payment collected was.

    They had no explanation for (1) and (2), but claimed the original payment was to “hold” the price.

    We immediately paid in full over the phone and asked for the manager to call us back to see if it would be possible to still deliver on the originally agreed timeline.

    Not only was that not possible, but now the time to delivery had stretched to 4-6 weeks.

    Worse, the manager was extremely rude. Rather than apologizing for all of the prior misses, he lectured that we should have known that without paying the full price they were not going to order the fridge.

    The thing is that we never asked for a price hold. We just wanted a refrigerator delivered asap, regardless of when the payment was due.

    Of course, we cancelled the order. At least they processed the refund quickly.

    Home Depot and Best Buy had the same item in stock for the same price And they had it available for delivery the NEXT DAY! We went with Home Depot and had a great purchase and delivery experience. The best part is that they only charged $49 for delivery, instead of the $800 Howard’s wanted.

    Just an observation based on one bad experience, but it seems to me that the business model here is broken: incompetent sales staff + poor customer service -> low sales, low margins and no working capital. Without working capital they can’t afford to stock merchandise -> long delivery times -> frustrated customers-> fewer orders. And the vicious cycle repeats.

    If you like waiting for weeks for your appliance, dealing with incompetent sales staff and rude management and getting ripped off on delivery charges, then Howard’s is the place for you! Otherwise, consider the competition.
