  1. Complete disappointment of a company. I ordered a speed queen washer and I found out they offered price match. I found the same washer on a different company’s website for $130 cheaper so I contacted Howard’s. A female employee helped me out and confirmed with her boss that the price match was accepted and that I needed to wait 3 weeks for the price match refund to be reflected on my credit card. I waited 3 weeks and I never heard back so I followed up with the Howard’s. I got told they did not have any record of this and that they were unable to honor my price match. They said that I had to find the same deal from over a month ago from the time i found the listing. Anthony Rosario was extremely useless and avoided my phone calls and emails. Complete disappointment of a company. If you’re looking to waste your time with an unprofessional appliance company, Howard’s is a great fit.

  2. I went in to get a dryer and was very impressed by the professionalism, knowledge, and friendliness of the ladies who helped me. Price was comparable to other stores and I was happy that they provided next delivery free of charge. I’m definitely getting my next appliance from them.

  3. Sold a LEMON dryer and Customer Service is non-existent.

    I purchased a dryer in late August 2023. It was delivered in September and by November it was intermittently drying. The dryer would get hot then would turn cold and would take 3+ times to dry even a small load. I called Howard’s who informed me that even though I had purchased the extended warranty through them, it had to go through the manufacturer’s warranty in the first year. I called GE and scheduled a service which was over a week away, GE saw the issue and said it was the thermostat and they had to order the part. They scheduled a follow-up for the next Friday and we received the part mailed to us on Wednesday of that week. Friday morning, they CANCELLED our service appointment saying they didn’t have the part (because we did, not sure what they’re doing). We called immediately upon receiving that email and GE told us they had already cancelled and couldn’t come until next week. GE then proceeded to schedule and no show/cancel TWO other appointments so at this point it had been over a month. I called Howard’s again and they escalated to GE on my behalf, GE came out and replaced the part but the repair man was very rude and said if anything happens again it was my problem and GE couldn’t do anything. I very much disagreed but thanked him as my dryer worked for the next week after he changed the part. But then it started again, again, I called Howard’s because I was EXTREMELY frustrated and told GE had to come out 3xs to see an issue before a new dryer would be sent. I said it’s intermittent so what if it’s not happening right then? And they said they didn’t know. GE came and of course it seemed to be working fine for the 30 minutes the GE repair man was there. I explained again and again what is going on but they weren’t any help. I called Howard’s immediately after as I had been talking to the store manager James and my rep on and off to call me back ASAP. That was last Thursday, it’s Monday and I STILL have not gotten a call back from anyone. I am very upset as these appliances cost a lot of money and I even bought the extended warranty which is worth nothing apparently. I will NEVER buy from Howard’s again if this is how they handle customer service. I’ve explained I have two young boys so I have A LOT of laundry and I have seen my electricity bill increase or be forced to do my laundry elsewhere which is extremely inconvenient for a BRAND NEW dryer (not even 6 months old). I would stay away from Howard’s and go to Best Buy instead.
