This was my first time staying at the Hotel Indigo and it was a very good stay. Considering it was a holiday weekend I expected long lines and rushed service. Instead I got Harmony, the front desk clerk who was wonderful. She was kind, personable and truly made me feel welcomed. I really appreciate good customer service and she went above and beyond. I also had a lovely experience with the breakfast staff. I will definitely be back!
I am a Entrepreneur an a business owner, of two different awesome websites.
I went to over 60 hotels past 5 years.
This is the closest one for right now to a hotel I was in the past.
Very professional also In customer service and very deep kindness to.
I recommended for all today.
May you all prosper In reception desk and the managers of this hotel also the main owner of it God bless from my heart â€ïž.
Great location, staff, and facility. But! Our room rarely had bags on the trash cans so we had to get our own. They also charged us 100+ at check out for amenities ($29 per day), we didnât even use⊠there is also no way around it so use it, since youâll end up paying for it anyways. Also be aware that everyday they give you $15 credit (per room, NOT per person), to buy anything from their Cafe, but everything is overpriced so youâll end up having to get your own breakfast somewhere else.
This is the perfect spot to see a Padres game! Itâs in walking distance of the Gaslamp area where there is an abundance of restaurants and shopping. I checked in at a time when the computer was down but Andrew was so kind, patient and especially helpful when he changed my room. The rooftop restaurant staff was so nice and the food it very good, as well. Breakfast was a hit for me. Itâs not like other hotels with packages food heated up and put out for others to breathe over and pick at. Here, you get a voucher to pick what you want. Love that. Will definitely stay here again when Iâm in San Diego.
I just want to preface this by saying I have waited a full month for Erica the office manager to respond to my email and no action has been taken so Iâm posting this here in case anyone else has the same experience.
My partner and I stayed at the Indigo Hotel which we booked through a 3rd party service, got a great deal. Checking in to the hotel, we were told there were no additional fees but we were given a $15 amenity âcreditâ to use at their snack bar or restaurant. We didnât need it but decided to use it anyway for waters and such.
Fast forward to check-out, I asked the front desk if the credit was applied to my room, and they said yes but it was included in the $65 âamenity fee.â This came as a total surprise to me because it was framed as a free credit, not a fee. I feel like it was intentionally confusing and misleading. It was an unfortunate ending to a nice weekend.
Itâs only $65 to some, but itâs the principle more than anything. It felt like the hotel was trying to make sure they collected some sort of money from me since I didnât book with them directly. It hasnât even been explained what the fee is even for.
I travel a lot for work, and they did not disclose any of the charges up front like they are supposed to when informing guests of things like a resort fee or incidentals hold.
It didnât sit right with me and sadly, because of this, I wonât stay at an IHG Hotel again. Itâs unethical. Hope the same doesnât happen to you reading this.
