Good but very strict and somewhat odd
I was in the middle of a manic episode after missing my flight and stayed here for one night as I was having banking issues and it was all I could afford with the cash I had on hand
The stay was pleasant and I was able to have a wonderful rest in a familiar room that I had stayed in before, but checking out the next day turned out to be a nightmare.
I guess it was pretty late the next day when I finally felt well enough to leave the sanctuary of my room which would explain maybe perhaps why they where a little bit mad but as I was trying to settle my bill they informed me that they have literally no luggage storage, ability to pack my things in the room, or ability to send my luggage home.
At this point I simply had no idea where I was going next, any plan whatsoever, and the thought of packing the stuff in my room felt intimidating. Most five star properties I stay at I havenāt had difficulty with having staff pack my bags far after Iāve left property, store my stuff, mail it to me, etc.
So I asked them what they were going to do and they just told me simply that they were going to throw my stuff out. It was probably something about the Bel Air air that made me think I could afford throwing out thousands of dollars worth of almost brand new clothing among all my other stuff, but for some reason I told them thatās fine because Iām not going to pack my stuff.
So I left the property, without any of the stuff I checked in with. I guess all my stuff ended up in the trash. Which is fine I guess, but feels more like something a cheap motel would do.
Food is really good. Rooms are good. Service? Clearly hit or miss.
A beautiful and luxurious hotel with incredibly friendly staff and perfectly executed amenities. The house car with friendly and informative drivers was an unexpected treat. The pool was the perfect temperature with outstanding service. Everyone we interacted with from stepping foot on the property to leaving was a treat ā an amazing stay and we canāt wait to be back.
PS: a walk with coffee to the swan pond in the morning is an absolute must.
My stay at Hotel Bel-Air was nothing short of magical. The moment I stepped onto the property, I was transported to a serene oasis. The lush gardens, stunning pool, and impeccable service made me feel like royalty. The staff was incredibly attentive and went above and beyond to ensure my comfort. I canāt wait to return for another unforgettable experience.
We love the Beverly Hills hotel but decided to try the Bel-Air. It has a very unique charm, similar to the Sea Island ā The Cloister in the south east coast of the US. The staff was great, even though our stay was short as we were there for an overnight event. We will definitely return.
I went here after some years, it didnāt feel right. we used to able to park our car on the upper part hilly side on our own but now you must valet your car, and if you have something in your car that goes missing , well read the back of the valet ticket āthey are not responsibleā! this and other reasons are why I am not going back to this hotel any longer! also the piano bar have the most uncomfortable seating except the booth, overall experience wasnāt good! this isnāt the bel air hotel I remember!also the waiter at the piano bar came over to take our order but no one at our table could hear him, he wasnāt able to speak loud enough having the music being played , so I dismissed him and told him to have the manager come over she came over and she spoke normally and we all could hear her just fine and we ordered , the management should be selective who they hire ! specially at the place of this caliber!!
