All the desk staff were friendly and helpful. The room was perfect in size, Spacious, clean and comfortable. My grandson was very impressed with the TV had our name being welcomed. The towels were large and soft. All the shampoo, conditioner and supplies good and beds were very comfortable. Although we didn’t take our pet but it being pet friend impressed me also. The area is beautiful with lots to do. Love the decor, Roll Tide. Look forward to staying in the future.
First went to stay at the Embassy but was less than satisfied with my experience… especially for the price point. From service to room quality to parking and amenities and the little touches… the Homewood does 10x a better job. Shoutout to Madelyn at the front desk and the manager on duty this morning (didn’t catch her name)… they took excellent care of me for my less than ideal situation. If I have to stay in Tuscaloosa again soon, I know exactly where I will be booking. Happy customer 🙂
Extremely disappointed by the service at this hotel. We arrived after traveling for 9+ hours and were told we had no reservation and there were no rooms left. We booked through a third party for specific dates and when we got the confirmation the dates had changed booking dates. We called the third party as well as the hotel to change it to the original dates we intended to book for and were told we were “confirmed” and they’d see us on the dates of our stay. However, when we got there there was no room for us! Despite us getting a confirmation from Hilton via email with a confirmation and all for our corrected dates, it seems they gave up our room because they could get others to pay a higher price. It’s extremely disappointing to be treated this way and for them to have no solution for the issues they made. I will not be staying here ever again and would not recommend this hotel for their poor customer service.

We had a confirmed reservation through Hilton, both via email and by phone, but when we arrived after a 9-hour drive for the Alabama game, we were told they didn’t have our room. The front desk was extremely rude and completely unwilling to help or offer any solutions. Despite having confirmations from both a third-party booking service and Hilton, they refused to assist in any way. This was a terrible experience, and we were left stranded with no support. Extremely disappointed in the lack of customer care.
Everything about this hotel was above and beyond our expectations. Every staff member had a smile and great attitude. The rooms are huge and the furniture and beds were SUPER comfortable. Breakfast in the morning was well-stocked and had a great variety for every diet. I will definitely look for Homewood Suites first when booking my travel in the future!
