This was a perfect stay. As an away team coming in for the football game, the hotel was perfectly situated to access university blvd and all the football activities. Tailgates, bars, events. Everything was in walking distance. The staff were so hospitable. I need to give an extra shout out to Ambry, the front desk attendant who’s hospitality and service made us feel right at home. She was so accomodating and all with a big smile on her face. If you’re ever in for a game. This is the place to stay.
A special shout-out to Frankie and Cedric at the front desk. Me and my colleague enjoyed getting checked-in by the two of them and experiencing their awesome-, positive hospitality energy! So lovely! My room is clean and neat and the location is a short walk to all that is happening on University Blvd. Pleased to have visited Tuscaloosa and staying at Home2 Suites.
Horrible experience with the GM Rachel or maybe she should be called Karen. She was extremely rude and not accommodating. Made a lot of snide remarks, to the point I felt attacked and racially profiled. I was here on business she told me She can cancel my reservation and you can go somewhere else. I was over charged, after being told I wouldn’t be charged and was charged anyway. If this is the representation of Hilton, you all have a lot of work to do. I even tried to file a report with the BBB. Come to find out this place isn’t even BBB accredited they are listed under a different name group (Pyramid Global Hospitality) left a voicemail for them as well. Her whole attitude from start ruined any good experience I may would have had here. Throughout the rest of my stay I notice how her and the staff looked at me with disgust. @HILTON DO BETTER
Great location. Clean rooms and plenty of parking. Best thing is you can just check in, park and then walk into town for dinner. Breakfast was status quo. Workout room was pretty good and clean. And they had sanitizing wipes which is not always the case for these hotels.
We’ve stayed at other Home2 suites before, but this one was the worst. The shower light was hanging down. The dishwasher was coming out of the wall. The room was filthy. The breakfast was awful. The staff never wanted to come to the front desk with someone was up there. I definitely would not spend money here again. It was very noisy kids upstairs were stomping around and running. The dishes were not even clean when we got in our room They were all in the dishwasher dirty.
