  1. Last minute check in on Memorial Day Weekend without reservations. We had a wonderful stay, the staff was very friendly and helpful, beds were very comfortable, the rooms were clean. Breakfast was was very good though just typical, lady in the kitched was a pure pleasure. We enjoyed the pool both in the evening and in the morning.

I would gladly stay at this hotel again! This was my first time at a Home2 Suites and the size and amenities of the room was a very pleasant surprise.

  2. We were here during the 4th of July and the rooms were not clean. My son had to sleep on the sofa bed and was a roach on his pillow. We had to call down stairs to get sheets for the sleeper sofa. They had lack of staff so we had to take our trash out and get new trash bags daily. This place could use the extra help. The floors in the kitchenette were sticky. This will not be our go to when we visit again next year. I do not recommend until they get more staff.

  3. Check in with Anna/Front Desk was wonderful she was exactly what a business wants/needs as the first/last thing a guest see’s. The hotel overall was beautiful especially comparing to others near by. Our room was spacious and amenities are an A+ in my opinion. The cleanliness of the room was not great. Bowls and silverware had chunks of dried on food, the “desk chair”, table and 1 end table were all covered in something dark, thick and sticky. There was no tv remote (Anna got me another one right away), coffee “tray” wasn’t refilled completely nor was the EMPTY body wash. Plus there was only enough conditioner for one shower, barely that. Also someone my floor was obviously smoking in their room. Multiple different times I smelled cigarette smoke and marijuana smoke, I don’t remember their name but one night someone at the front desk and I briefly discussed being annoyed by it. With all that being said I still thought our stay overall was pretty good. The real issues began after checkout and have still yet to be resolved now 17 days later. I was charged $150 for a smoking fee, although I 100% can say that we did not smoke in our room. I also noticed an amount that was charged my card that was not on the receipt. When I called to ask about these things, I was told several different things that the room smelled like smoke then later on another phone call while I was making a complaint. Someone else said they saw ashes and they said that I covered the smoke detector. I have no clue what they mean by that I didn’t cover anything nor did I pay attention to it. I guess I couldn’t even tell you where the smoke detector was. so it was covered. It was covered prior to my stay and went unnoticed with the rest of the issues with the room that doesn’t surprise me. But after I spoke to several people about the fact that I did not smoke in the room, but I was charged a lady just told me I should just dispute it with my bank because there’s nothing they would do about it. also for 17 days I have went around and around with multiple people from Hilton and from Home2 to resolve the charge that’s on my account but not reflected on my receipt. Still no resolution. And the last time I spoke to the front desk at the hotel I do believe her name was Jen. I couldn’t get a word in. She constantly interrupted me and spoke over me and flat out told me I was wrong. There’s no charge on their end so there’s not one on mine although I clearly have one on my end and it is still pending. The bank won’t touch it because it’s pending and she kept telling me that my bank had to take care of it because the hotel doesn’t have anything on their end. When I became frustrated because again she would not let me speak. I asked if there was anyone else I could speak to or a corporate number and very annoyed sounding she just told me, No. & when I asked what her name was, she told me that she would not be giving me that information or any other information and then hung up on me. I am highly upset with the way I was treated. The charge is STILL pending on my account. & on top of being charged a smoking fee I paid $100 for deposit/incidentals that I was told I would get back at checkout. I did know that I wouldn’t be getting much of it back if anything because I used it throughout my stay for snacks and drinks however, it shows on my receipt that spent $70 throughout my three day stay yet $30 was never returned to me. I don’t typically leave reviews online because I know how one bad review can highly affect thing, however, at this point, I don’t know what else to do because calling Hilton only sends me to the hotel and the hotel as I’ve stated it was not only no help, but I do not want to speak to the front desk staff again at this point after being treated the way I was.

  4. The put us at the end of the hall on the 4th floor. We have 5 kids, so probably not the greatest idea but didn’t bother me. My kids aren’t obnoxious but their noise bothered the neighbors and we had to sit still after 8pm. That’s not a big deal for us.

The bathroom had full size shampoo, conditioner and body lotion-not soap.

It was clean-ish, the main areas, bathroom, beds, kitchens were clean but found half eaten PBJ under the made with some used “items”.

I requested extra blankets & pillows on the app during booking and they didn’t have them. Kitchenette was clean with usable kitchen item, bowls, plates silverware.

Parking lot was dark in most areas. Mostly handicap accessible. Some rooms are but some are standard. Patio and lounge were clean and welcoming.
Staff was bland, no smiles or howdydo, but not rude or mean.

  5. We are used to staying in homes 2 everywhere we got but this is by far was the WORST EXPERIENCE!! They put us in a room and the bed had fleas!!!, when we brought it up to the front desk she said (“would you like a sheet to change the bed covers”) when we asked for them to send housekeeping they said (“we are short staffed”) the whole room was infested it got in our luggage and we had to throw everything away.
