  1. Holiday Inn Sacramento – Morning Breakfast
    ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I recently had breakfast at the Holiday Inn in Sacramento, and I must say it exceeded my expectations. For under $20, the breakfast options were fresh, delicious, and well worth the price. The real highlight was the service—Stephanie, the server, was amazing. She was attentive, kind, and made sure I had everything I needed. Her positive attitude and professionalism made the morning meal even better. Highly recommend stopping in for breakfast if you’re staying here.

  2. Our stay here was great! The room itself was pretty standard for a hotel room- we had two full sized beds, a standard sized bathroom, a desk, a bonus cushy chair, a mini fridge and a tv. Nothing was fancy but everything was clean and well taken care of. The only downside was that in our room (609) the deadbolt lock didn’t seem to work. We would twist it and it would just bounce back to its original place. We didn’t see this as a huge problem though because we still had the extra lock that did work.

As far as service and location goes, this was hands down the best that I have ever experienced. Every single staff member that we talked to went above and beyond to be courteous and helpful. They gave us tips and helped us navigate without us even needing to ask and were just genuinely so positive and joyful. They honestly made the experience. Holiday Inn, give all of your staff at this location a raise. They deserve it!

Finally, we booked this hotel specifically for a concert at golden 1. Online it said that it was a 3 minute walk away to the venue but putting it into even more context, we literally didn’t even cross a road or walk next to a road to get to the venue. After leaving the hotel, we followed this garden like path to a mall (with several good restaurants like yard house and insomnia cookies) and inside of the outdoor mall was the stadium. We could not have gotten closer to the venue if we had tried.

    10/10 would visit again.

  3. Greeted by Greg at the Front Lobby when checking in. He was pleasant, very courteous and professional. Small talk made you feel very welcomed and with his deep Barry White voice, it made me want to stay and talk all day. Checking in was swift and quick, not sure if all the complaints here was when there was an event taking place.

Building is old, but they could have updated and renovated the place to make it more appealing. For the price you pay, you would expect the rooms to be nicer, but it was dark and I’m assuming the bedroom furniture and carpet are still the same as when they first opened. Did find a towel in the mini fridge and I’m assuming housekeeping had put it there while defrosting it but forgot to take it out.

Breakfast Buffet was part of our reservations, and it was just alright. Personally don’t think it’s worth $20 for what they served. Could’ve cooked the house potatoes longer to make it a little crispier and added some bell peppers to make it a little more flavorful. Met the famous Ericka that everyone raved about. Despite her not being our server, I can see why people love her, she’s very kind and attentive.

Our stay was alright, it served its purpose since we were attending a birthday party and needed a place to spend the night. Not sure if we’d stay there again, but its location is convenient since it’s right off the freeway, just footsteps from The Arena and walking distance to Old Sac. Unfortunately, kids were not interested in visiting Old Sac due to some of the homeless people they saw roaming near the hotel.

  4. We have stayed here multiple times over the last 30 years and have had great experiences, however, this last one wasn’t the best experience. 2 of the Elevators were broken causing serious delays. The Air Conditioner in our room was so loud we couldn’t really sleep. Although the Complimentary drinks were awesome. Hope things are in working order for our next visit.

  5. Service was excellent. Location in relation to the Golden 1 Center & old downtown Sacramento is unsurpassed. Parking was extremely convenient & reasonably priced. Our room was clean, although the A/C unit appeared dusty & neglected. Breathing the air in our room triggered some mild allergies. Additionally, the leather office chair in my room was so tattered & worn it should have been replaced a year or two ago. Overall, a nice convenient hotel & a pleasant stay overnight. Cheers!
