1. We spent 5 night here for a group event. We loved the location, which was very walkable to almost all the things you would want to do in Big Bear. The staff was very friendly and took care of our every need. As other have said, the place is a little dated and could use a little freshening up.
   Our room had a single king bed and was up on the 4th floor. The room was very small and so were the window to let in any light. The bathroom was in need of new lighting. It was kind of dim and dingy. They gave you a bar of soap that was so small, that it was hard to hold onto.
   The pool area was great and we did spend a lot of time there. Unfortunately, the water was very cool and not heated at all. You could not stay in the water for very long without freezing.
   All in all it was a pleasant stay but the facility could use a little remodeling.

2. Just a quick overnight to beat the heat! The room temperature was amazing! The entire property smelled crisp and clean. The gym provided a good selection of weights and cardio, and a Sauna! We enjoyed the location most of all, as it was a quick walk to many great restaurants and cute shops. I appreciated the coffee machine that had Hot Chocolate, Cafe Mocha, Vanilla Latte, etc…($2 for 12 ounce). Of course, there is a Keurig in the room with a good selection, but I appreciated the additional options out of convenience. Great stay!

3. Our room had one king bed. It was on the first floor and very spacious. The hotel is dated but very clean. When you check into the lobby, you have to go down five or six stairs to get to the first floor. We didn’t have a problem with it, but noticed, others on the first floor, struggling on the steps. We didn’t get the breakfast, which was $10 if purchased in advance or $15 a day on arrival. I really didn’t notice anyone having their breakfast but I could’ve missed it. I liked the hotel layout and the pool and hot tub were very nice with large deck seating areas, the best thing about this hotel it is located inside the village and we walked to all of the shops and restaurants that were in the village. I loved the location.

4. Hotel doesn’t have idea what is basic maintenance and management. Smoking alarm got error beeping for whole night. Spent more almost an hour to report issue to front desk. And what they could do is just report to maintenance group who didn’t work at night. And just let you to bear the beeping for whole night. Cannot sleep for a single minute. Next morning have to call again to remind them that issue wasn’t fixed. They totally forgot! Totally ruin the vacation. Not recommend this hotel at all.

5. Everyone is extremely welcoming and friendly. The entire hotel is very clean. Housekeeping is super here. They definitely care about cleanliness, which is very appreciated. The entire hotel is family friendly and there is so much to do in walking distance. Worth every penny.
