Stayed here last month, and I hesitated writing this review because I really wanted to gather my thoughts on the whole experience. Let me first start off on a positive note. I really enjoyed the restaurant at the hotel. The food was amazing, portions were very large, prices were good, and the drinks were some of the best I’ve had in a while! The staff all seemed very polite and very accommodating. The hotel itself was very clean. My only issue is the rooms don’t always close properly, and the door is basically left ajar so anybody can push it open! This is a huge safety concern!!! Especially for families or women traveling solo! Unfortunately I discovered this when I got back from shopping and the room had been serviced. I was able to push my room door right open, no key! Another time as I was leaving the room the door also failed to close properly. I had to go back and really make sure it was shut! For that reason I can’t rate this hotel very high, although I do feel the staff are all absolutely wonderful! The room not closing is a huge safety problem! If they ever fixed this problem I would absolutely be willing to try staying here again.
I’ve stayed here three times now on business trips. Each time, the staff has been so welcoming and accommodating. From letting me park near the door with valuables in the car to printing large documents late at night (thanks Kayla!), I’ve always felt welcomed and taken care of here. The rooms are clean and well appointed, and price is always great. What more can you ask for?
Shawn…was the nicest young lady who has ever helped us at a hotel. So kind and considerate. She really was so helpful. We were on a med visit but wanted to stay one more night just to relax. I dig it there. I’m not a fan of Palmcaster but this hotel allows you to enjoy the weather and relax in a very clean room.
The room was nice and very clean. The staff was friendly. My only issue(and a big one for me) was the air conditioning was broken in the fitness room, no sweat towels, no water, no fans and the water fountains also didn’t work. Nice clean place, I just needed the fitness room.
Everything was perfect. I travel a lot for work, so a bunch of check ins…lol. Kayla at the front desk was hands down the most pleasant person I have ever encountered while checking in. Thank you, Kayla, for starting my stay out on a very positive note.
