Great little gem across from University of South Alabama. I have not stayed in a Holiday Inn Express before and I was pleasantly surprised. The rooms were all updated and in great shape. Very comfortable bed. Nice little touches down to the specialized pillow cases which indicate if the pillow is firm or soft! Decent breakfast – about what you would expect in a free hotel breakfast. Everything was fresh and restocked quickly. Nice staff and great location.
We had such an enjoyable stay here! Rooms were very nice and clean, comfy beds, great breakfast, and such kind and outgoing staff. Everyone was happy, welcoming, and very accommodating. This will be a stop for us now each year on our way to Fl!!
I’ve stayed in this hotel twice and enjoyed both of my stays. The room was mostly clean. There were some hairs left in the bathroom. Otherwise, I had a very comfortable stay (both times) and would come back. I haven’t stayed at other hotels in the area, but this location is convenient to get to between the airport and the university. The WiFi is strong and the breakfast options are decent. The gym is clean, well-lit, and has a variety of machines and weights to choose from. There are some nearby restaurants that you can walk to for a quick bite!
When checking in to my room, along with my friends, unfortunately the computer system was down. While I understand that things happen and that the front desk had zero control over that, it was very chaotic to say the least. The room itself was very nice, however, my tv didn’t work for some reason, but thankfully I was only there for one night.
Couldn’t ask for a better establishment to rest at after a long day of travel. Staff was very polite and helpful with local information. Rooms above average for size and cleanliness. Couldn’t find anything worth complaining about.
