Front desk staff we’re outstanding. Very friendly and very helpful. Location will be good eventually, but right now it’s a little difficult to get to due to road construction. A lot of maintenance going on inside the hotel. A bit like living in a construction zone.
The major malfunction here was the absolutely filthy swimming pool. I don’t think it was any chlorine chemicals in that pool. It was a milky shade of gray and there was a oily residue on the surface. Yet children were swimming in the pool.
I’m honestly writing a review because of Caleb at the front desk. I was in town for a work project and the guy went above and beyond on the service. Helped me navigate an issue with my company’s credit card to get the room paid for, helped me get all the details lined out on some equipment I was having shipped to the hotel, and did it all with an incredibly positive attitude. Dude is a rockstar. Rooms are getting renovated with minimal disruption and all the other staff were great too. I’ll be staying here again next quarter cause I know the staff have me covered.
Stopped here for one night, traveling with husband and our kiddo. It was off a whim, we were tired and needed a place to stop.
This did not disappoint, rooms were nice and clean, front desk was very nice and helpful getting a room right away. Breakfast was decent and there’s even a Starbucks right next door for a coffee pick up before hitting the road. Will keep this place in mind for our next trip, 5 out 5 for the hospitality.
My overall experience was good but I took one star off for the bathroom not being 100% clean (there was women’s hair underneath the sink so that part wasn’t properly cleaned).
I took a second star off for the noise. This wasn’t noise from the construction but the people above me on the 3rd floor. I don’t know if it was a grown up or a heavy footed bad older kid but the constant running, thumping, and other commotion continued into the evening so that wasn’t pleasant, especially since I already had a headache.
The construction that was going on seemed like it was right next to me: it was a constant tapping, hammering, and some other sound I couldn’t identify but the saving grace was that it stopped in the afternoon.
The good things were stellar customer service, pleasant check in process, friendly housekeeping staff, and the breakfast was incredibly delicious.
I think I’d rather wait until construction is complete to go back though.
Very frustrating situation. Was staying here for work. They over booked the rooms. Was given a key and walked into a room with people already in it. Went down to the front desk to get a new room, walked to that room…. And again people are already in it. They overbooked the hotel by 8 rooms. Normally I’d be whatever about it bc stuff happens. But the only reason for leaving a review is bc the front desk worker was pretty rude about the whole situation. It came off as it was almost our fault and not the hotels.
