I would like to shout out John the owner, for making my stay here with my family a memorable one! The breakfast was outstanding, the pool was beautiful and spacious. The gratitude of each staff member working here was extremely welcoming. I also want to add that Betsy was extremely helpful as well with directions and if I had a question. I would recommend this hotel to anyone who wants to feel like this is a home away from home! Excellent service, would definitely recommend!- Liz
Decent hotel with updated rooms. Was satisfied with the cleanliness and it was a quiet stay. Will say the A/C unit was having problems with the room’s humidity and it was barely keeping up. Noticed the seals around the in-wall unit were not great and you could see the outside. The immediate location nearby this hotel seemed borderline unsafe after dark, but the property itself felt safe.
Missed this location the turn in is narrow, had to go to the light to do a U-turn! Had a very interesting U-turn only light which is close to the entrance which is only accessible to southbound traffic. It is right after the yellow fence car dealership!!!
The continental breakfast was okay, on par with others at this price range, convenient enough.
They had bug spraying going on when we were there but didn’t see any bugs. Likely preventing stuff, which is a good sign that maintenance was up to speed
This specific location of Holiday inn was FAR from the standards IHG stands for. There were REALLY BAD SMELLS at my room, open sewage drainages, lots of litter on the parking areas, cockroaches on the hallways and stairs and in my 5 nights stay they never cleaned my room not even ONCE! I called customer service department after my stay and they just apologized and offered a minimum amount of points credited back and showed not sympathy at all being this stay a very important date for me and my family and was ruined for this “freshly remodeled” property.
I have been traveling in So Cal for 4-months now on a work trip. I’ve stayed at many of the IHG hotels in the area and I’ve been back to this hotel many times for multiple day stays. The 5-star rating is for the service of the staff, manager, prices and availability. The actually quality of the rooms is a work in progress. It’s a remodel from a different hotel chain but it’s being slowly converted into your traditional Holiday Inn. The layout is a little strange but the rooms are decent. Smaller than usual and carry sound a lot more than one would like but the overall value and location makes up for that. The neighborhood is not too kid friendly but if you are going to area theme parks this is sufficient. Thank you to Betsy, Maria and Daniel for being very helpful and accommodating on my work travels in the area.
Though the front desk lady was very kind, their new management refused to take more than 20% off our stay when we had to find and kill MULTIPLE roaches in our room. Our discount was a mere $22.00. Things like this happen, but when you’re playing exterminator and they don’t want to offer anything really nice for the inconvenience. It drives people away.
